Before you do remove it just wanted to say that scene is from a site whose whole theme is "unprofessional" and have many scenes where the girls just walk out. Mya not only chose to keep going and finish that shoot but then has come back for like 4 more scenes with them. Not saying the guys aren't complete dirt bags, cause they are, but she did actually "consent" to everything and could have stoped it at any time.

No chance, I'm afraid. Any video would definitely break my rule on consenting professionals! I'm not sure I could write it either. It's not beyond the protagonist but it is beyond this creator.
Yeah, completely valid, agree with everything you've said. The clip was perfect too. I just try to use best judgement and I can't know how much pressure she was under to stay, but I could see the pressure they put her under to leave. Specifically, in the clip I used I saw she wasn't acting, it was a conversation between performers, so that sealed it for me – what's the point of the fiction if the real scene is abusive? I thought hard about a James Deen scene's inclusion too, but his partner in that scene hasn't made any allegations and was dating him... So it's there for now unless Chanel Preston tells me otherwise. I suppose my rationale is if I want to explore themes like the above in a fantasy, I want to be confident nobody was exploited in reality. Hard task in porn.
PS. Besides moral handwringing the writing's going well. Getting there. Two scenes left for an ending and then there's a couple of bonus scenes to do.
All content for all three girls (any future expansion or returning cameos notwithstanding) is now available, and only a year or so behind schedule (!).

I think I've seen it all now. An adult game creator, whose fictional creation's premise is the pure embodiment of illegality and fuck-up'edness were it to occur in reality, struggling to internalize his game because he can't determine whether the source material he uses is kosher or not. He really ought to to take a step back and look at what he's making - because this self-censoring shtick isn't in anyone's best interest. There's no soap box to stand on...
I don't see a problem w/his concern and self-censoring. What's the dev is making here is pure fantasy. What he's talking about is actual abuse. I like jerking it to porn involving degradation and humiliation, but if it looks like the woman isn't into it, it's not hot. Consent is king.

Ensuring actual people weren't harmed or coerced in reality while filming a fictionalized script isn't a soap-box, it's basic human decency.
If the game or a movie depicted beatings and non-consensual assault, you think it would be fine to use videos of the real thing? WTF man.
I agree with you completely. The fact that A. the scene still apparently exists ( he got a hold of it, didn't he?) - and - B. As pointed out, said actress apparently went back to work for them again several times - shows that is was consensual. Why would she keep going back otherwise? I would imagine that if there were any illegality to it that scene would have been taken down via the proper authorities, no?

The fact of the matter is - all porn is exploitative to some degree. So long as it's not illegal, there's no issue. With regards to legality, there are proper channels to address that, obviously. I just find it odd that the creator wants to make a game like this, with these kind of extremes, knowing that he's going to have to rely on real scenes for the content, but then goes out of his way to publicize his internal moral struggles. It's a bit of a "have your cake and eat it too" moment.

No, it existing isn't evidence of legality, plenty of illegal stuff is floating around online; this very site hosts material that is illegal in some countries. Her returning also isn't proof of consent, since coercion and extortion are a thing. That being said, I do find his stated reasoning a bit shaky since the recorded conversation could have easily been a staged bit just to support that site's reported schtick; based on the little I've heard about the specific scene, it's quite possible it's legit. However, the creator has put more time and energy into investigating this scene so unless someone else feels like dedicating time to sussing it out, I'll accept his judgement on the situation and what's appropriate for his game, and hope he errs on the side of consent and safety for those involved. This is what he appears to be doing: the scene in question looked questionable, he couldn't satisfy said questions, and dropped the scene. Seems reasonable?
I disagree that all porn is necessarily exploitative, although it certainly can be. Extreme content can be filmed in a safe, consensual manner. Just because the game has extreme content doesn't mean it will have to use questionable or borderline material. Some women have rape fantasies, crazy as I find that, and might be involved in making porn of such things in a safe and controlled manner. Some have incest fantasies, and may do the same thing. The creator's job is making sure he's using safely-made material, not questionable stuff he finds dubious. In a game including extreme content, this becomes *more* important, not less (or at least more difficult, if not more important). That's not wanting your cake and eating it too, nor is it a moral struggle; that's just due diligence.
