Ren'Py - Corrupted Kingdoms [v0.22.0a] [ArcGames]

Very hot models and animations (except for the catgirl- what's wrong with her chin?) and interesting story. The dialogue, while not incredible, is better than I've come to expect of porn games. Overall definitely worth your time, assuming it actually keeps updating the way it has been.

Overall one of the best games on this site with the most frequent update schedule I've seen. One of the few dev's worth supporting.

Story: 4.5/5 - Story is pretty good compared to most games on this site. It's a pretty straight forward mystery-type story, but keeps you entertained enough to keep playing.

Characters: 5/5 - Characters in this game are what really make this game stand out. Theres not only a lot of variety of these characters with different personality types, appearences, etc but they are all well written as to their background and story. Alot of games on this site have alot of characters to appease different fetishes, but none of them are actually written to be interesting.

Renders 4.5/5 - The renders are absolutely amazing (I love koikatsu models so I may be biased), and it's clear the developer spent alot of time creating unique scenes/models. However, alot of the images seem to be a bit blurry on my computer. I'm running a 1080p 60Hz screen so I don't really have anything special, but the images look like they might be in a lower resolution. Its prob too late to change it now, but I think that's one big improvement the game can make, especially with how high quality the actual renders are.

Gameplay 4.5/5 - This game is a free-roam sandbox type game with quite a bit of freedom (which is great for games with many girls). The game doesn't really have any grinding, which is great for any game. The game is centered around the mind control mechanic, but you still have to build relationships with every girl so the whole mind control aspect is actually very tame. I really like how you can choose which route you can go with each girl (slave or love). The only thing I dislike is how there's a morning->afternoon->evening cycle but there's really nothing to do in the evening so you pretty much get 2 actions before you need to sleep. It makes an otherwise non-grindy game feel grindy, I think there should be like a "quick sleep" button or something to make that process faster or add some more stuff at night.

Content 5/5 - I'm pretty sure this is the only dev on this entire platform releasing weekly updates. It's clear that this guy is truly passionate about what he does and isn't just raking in patreon money with nothing to show for it like alot of other dev's on this platform. Game currently has quite a bit of content already, but with the speed of updates it's expanding fast.

I have to say, this is a pretty impressive game! As far as character development, it wasn't too fast or too slow, perfect speed! The Scenes and characters models were also on point! I think the thing about this game that I really love, is how long it is!

The only downside for me, is that the objectives should be a little easier to find. (Like even telling a hint for what you should do.) I've seen a few objectives telling me where to go, but there needs to be maybe a few more in my opinion. Nothing bad, just a suggestion! (I'm an idiot and blind. Found them!)

For a game that's not even completely done yet, this is really good! I really cannot wait until the full version is out!! I'm actually excited about this! Not too often when I get this excited! Excellent work! Keep it up!

another great illusion game it seems illusion games always carry great stories with the perfect blend of comedy and story progression and it always makes me arc back if you excuse the pun im very impressed with the non standard backgrounds in this game due to it not being default well done and good luck

The ONE thing that bothers me is the update frequency. Its just too often for my taste. Nothin bad for most of the players i guess. But i get discouraged by that many updates. I would never expected that I would ever write something like this, but here we are.

One of my top 3 favorite games on here. First of all there is a lot of content here. They have explorations areas where you gotta try different paths and you might get rewards based off that. There are a lot of characters, you got monster girls, animal girls, and normal girls, each with different personalities making it feel slightly refreshing. Would highly recommend this game!

- not bad CG, good filtered, but not perfect- some clipping, some visible low-polygoned models
- good animations
- code not complicated and ok
- story is ok
- girls background also ok
- hints present ingame (its cool when u dnt need external wt for sandbox)
CONS:
- very early stage development- looks like near 20-25% game content is done(isnt flaw, but incompleteness visible). i mean- to many girls, but their story too short
- first part of game separated sliced from second (i mean lab)

Arc has one heck of a work ethic. That alone is worth five stars in a world filled with devs who only update 3 times a year and milk projects for as long as humanly possible. Arc updates so often I kinda almost get mad sometimes, what with all the downloads. As a result the game has a lot of content and is pretty stable to boot. It has an interesting power gimmick and does not force you to play the good guy all the time unlike a lot of harem games out there. You can be as cruel and vengeful to your enemies as your little black heart desires, while also allowing you to be kind to those you think deserve it so you are not stuck playing a too cruel for school would kick the puppy type protag. The girls are all great and I love Arcs writing style. Please give the game a try even if the anime style does not do it for you there is a lot to love about this game. Corrupted Kingdom is a good Ren'Py game that gives the players enough girls to seduce that it satisfies very well to the Harem genre, and the heroine's choices are diverse enough that you won't get bored. It has some cheesy and sometimes WTF moments, but it's part of this game charm. They give you enough options in the game that made it so your choice actually matters, so fans of those types of games can enjoy it too. The money grinding for upgrades can be a bit 'eh', but with enough determination, you can get through that for some of those booties!

Really, about the best game ive ever played of this type. I have to write a bunch of words here because obviously giving a rating and a short reason why isnt good enough. It would be nice if they would give you a letter counter so we would know how much to write before stopping. Cant even support a game easily ffs

The game has a nice story and great character development, I would love to see if there is any possible way to have the females become pregnant without daydreaming about it and I would love to see some pregnant sex and some birth scenes in the game; overall the game is a 5 star in my book. I like Pixie but Kana is the girl I love the most because she was abandoned at first but found happiness when it came to her meeting the main character and Pixie and then introducing them to Annie and Gwen. I would love her to have my pups if she were real.

I really like this game. The story is very interesting and the characters are unique and likable, I love all of them. Usually, I don't play sandbox games but when I saw the good graphics and amazing characters I wanted to try it. The plot is intriguing and isn't just one sex scene after the other, and the idea of owning and upgrading property is executed well. The girls are very beautiful, each girl has her own approach and personality...My favorite is absolutely Pixie...

this is one of the best all-around games I've played in a while. Well, it's more of a kinetic novel with very minor branching (no real game mechanics but there is a bit of economy I guess), but I've really enjoyed all the content currently available.

The story is cool, the characters are mostly fun (pixie is so damn funny), the art and animation are koikatsu but they do make effort beyond just spawning in a character and taking screen caps (although if you played koikatsu a lot, a few of the locations will be familiar but most are very unique). Creator uses a lot of custom poses and non-standard assets and stuff. A lot of the animated H scenes (which there are plenty of) use custom poses, some threesome poses for example. Plenty of variety., enough so that you really only know it's koikatsu because of the models and art style and because of the few locations that are in the base game.

All in all, I recommend it in it's current and probably future states as well. There is probably 15 or so hours of content currently available, definitely enough for a few wanks.

I've been following this game for months and this is hands down one of the best games I played as of yet. Which is saying something cause I've played A LOT of games on this site. I can't wait for the completed game. Great Job Devs!

This game excels in its story & characters.
The story is just amazing and that's what kept me from playing until the end(v0.5.2). The writing is funny, and it really makes you care about the characters (There is a lot to choose from)

art is not the best but acceptable.it has great story and lots of interaction with characters. it could use some more items and sub quests for rewards. but all in all the a good game that can give several hours of enjoyment.

As is for many of these Patreon based ren'py games, i really had no expectations coming in to this game and was just hoping for atleast something decent.

Honestly, in the first 2 hours i was laughing my ass off with the dialogue and that was fairly un-expected, the dialogue between the characters and the MC feels really fluid and well thought out, the personality traits of each character stood out and each interaction felt like it was personal and fitting instead of just trying to get the dialogue to continue and move on.

For the moment, i'd suggest supporting this on Patreon and seeing where it goes, if it stays on the path it's on i'd say its one of the funniest and most thought out games out there that you can actually have a laugh with while doing... well.. you know what.

Art's nice, most girls are cute. Don't care for the loli or the tree but viewer results will vary.

Story's fine. Voice is good, narrative is fine, dialog is mostly good. I'll get to tone in a moment.

Porn's vanilla, and that's a shame with the tags posted. Corruption, Pregnancy and some of the others are right up my alley but are either rough in this release or barely present at all. There's a very high likelihood I'm just bitter cuz I didn't get to knock up the cowgirl.

Something in the overall tone is offputting, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's the Sword of Damocles thing, maybe it's my personal preference of corrupting girls from a stance of power rather than as a desperate measure to save the character's own ass. I feel the MC spends an awful lot of the time passive with the plot happening to him, rather than out sewing the seeds of discord as a good pervert should.

TLDR: Not quite there yet for me, but quality as it stands.
