Ren'Py - Corrupted Kingdoms [v0.22.3d] [ArcGames]

It's really good if you want a decent VN game with interesting story. Beside from the obvious Koikatsu engine, the character themselves are looking good. Their personality is a bit generic though, but in a good way. I like how the MC is actually quite dependable and using his brain, unlike other game who tend to create their MC as the "generic dense harem protag".

Some side note, as expected from a VN game... don't go looking for a "gameplay" if you're playing this. At most you can only "point and click" to grind for the money and stats. It's really stupid if you played this game hoping to see some "interactive action", this is still a visual novel at its core.

In the end, I really recommended this game and you should give it a try.

I love this game wholeheartedly. It's amazing to see it have constant updates which really motivates me to wait and play the next one. Normally, I wait for a couple of updates and play it in bulk, but this game is quite different. The characters are hella awesome (especially Kana and the blonde school duo) and the story is very intriguing. I've really been having fun with this game and I can't wait to see it through the end.

One dimensional game play. There are different places to go, but not much to do there, usually only at one location the story continues.
Therefore, it's pretty much like a VirtualNovel without a VirtualNovel tag. The music and the graphics are nice though, that's why i gave it 2 stars instead of 1.

When you are into VNs, you should give it a try. When you want to play a real game, better avoid it.

First off, I usually don't play "Western" H-Games. Ironic to even call em that, since VNs were not "Western" orignally, but as time went on in the H-Game world, it seemed that most Japanese devs (if not all) shifted away from VN style games. At least when it comes to H-Content. To make it simple, I normally am interested in RPGM games, 2D Sidescrollers, SLG etc.

With that out of the way, the writing and wittiness of Corrupted Kingdoms is impeccable and unmatched, when comparing it to Asian games
Tons of effort has been put into the script, the story, and character personalities. It's just extremely charming all around with different archetypes and an almost wacky but interesting plot. 10/10

However, when you put such an incredible amount of effort into the script, other aspects need to suffer and that is mainly the H-Scenes in my opinion. The entire game is basically pre-rendered (I am 99,9% certain Koikatu was used for this) and you are merely watching a movie file being played. This means you have very little freedom of choice once a scene has started and there's just little variation overall. Also, the rendering seems to have quite a lot of artifacts, at least at 1080P resolution.

This sounds like I am bashing the game, but like I said earlier, the writing, dialogue, story, and characters all make up for it. But If extensive H-Scenes are a dealbreaker for you, then you should probably skip this one.

The person (group?) who is behind this project, really has some talent for witty and funny writing, so making this game a VN was probably the best idea. On the other hand, I am 100% sure that ArcGames (whoever you may be) could shoot for something bigger if they shifted away from the VN style, but that's just me.

I first tried this game half a year ago and the amount of content and updates since then is astonishing. It deserves 5 stars just from the dev's consistency and reliability alone. Back then pregnancy was some kind of placeholder dream cutscene and now it looks like it's already a developed feature.

100th Review!

Will be honest, this game started pretty slow for me at first, but within 20 minutes, it pulled me into its world, characters, and story. It was surprisingly good and went beyond my initial expectations of it, and I can see why the previous 99 reviews were mostly very positive regarding this game.

I'm glad I got into this game late because it meant more content for me to enjoy. Can't wait for future releases, and I will be keeping my eye out for updates because it's just that good.

One of my favorite games, even after the render changes, Corrupted Kingdom's is well made, funny at times, and also decently charming. At times i find myself thinking about the game when I'm playing other games, as i use this as a good benchmark for how good a game is or is not. The characters and their decisions make sense, and all in all it's just pretty darn good.

Easy 5, great game that's constantly updated, and i cannot wait to see it be completed eventually.

Some of the most creative and well thought out writing. Varied girls, good art style and animation. Overall a fun play through from an excellent developer who really is part of the community he's created. Can't suggest highly enough.

Comppared to other games this game has most NOT annoying companion, pixie is really funny and cute, such as the game itself is overall good in almost every way

This one takes a bit to get going. The first hour or so of the game is pretty boring and empty. I understand the purpose it serves narratively but i almost feel like the game would be better if there were a way to get all that plot info but skip most of the 1st chapter. I was going to knock a star off because of the beginning, but the rest of the game is excellent. Pretty well written and compelling story. Great and plentiful sex scenes. A lot of the Koikatsu games have pretty low res models but the girls in this game look great. Lots of stuff to do and game has a built in walkthrough. Definitely a must play, just bull your way through the first 1hr or so and you're golden

First of all, my native language is not English, some mistakes were probably made.

The game is awesome, I couldn't play the new updates but here's what I know about it

Quite an endearing, heartwarming but at the same time dark.
I think this may be one of the best stories I've played on here, and the character building is quite impressive concidering there's a fair amounth of them.
This may very well get 5 stars from me at a later date.
(future updates will tell of that's the case)
Also the developer seems to be frequently update which is great news as to not make the playes too impatient or lose interest in the wanting-game.

Most of my review will include some spoilers so dont read if you dont want any.

In the first part of the game, MC dosent trust anyone(infact he hates everyone rightfully so and wants revenge), has a choice in how to react to people(love or inslave) and has to build up his powers effect on people, so he knows it doesn't work perfectly first time and has to be weary but then in the second part MC isnt mad at jessica(she was going to kill him if he hadnt used his powers on her before), the choices of like or treat as slave are totally gone and why is he now trusting people who without MCs powers tried to kill him(when MC has no idea if the effect could wear off/might not be stong enough to keep them from betraying him) and staying where the organisation who again tried to kill him knows where he is.

Its a total flip of not just the character but of the whole game play, it goes from a gritty revenge story with an MC the player controls to a harem builder with a standard boring white knight MC(literally goes from inslaving women for sex(if you want), to "offer to apply suntan oil" to a person already under control who also tried to kill him and then he needs them to now love him before having sex).

After that the story starts going weird characters(supposedly under mind control) not doing what you tell them, after that with the whole choices as to how the MC acts being thrown out the window you realise the hard core story(MCs main reason and attitude for coming back) is gone and all your left with is a how do i get them to have sex with me style game with ok(at best) art

The UI is easy to use and unlike most sandbox style games i never found it hard to find what to do next, the art is substandard but acceptable(if it had a consistant story) and comes with very smooth animations.

Finally a bomb game from a dev who consistently updates! Literally every week! The story-line is pretty good but the animation and variety is top notch, I promise this game has something for everyone.

One of my absolute favorites. Very well written, with good and fascinating world building, memorable characters and a gradually expanding open world but with strong plot lines.
Not to mention the humor, the mystery, the magic and the regular sexual encounters. Also, how can you not get mad when [someone] hurts Pixie?

The world and the game's structure have been set up to support a lot of future progression but already contain at least 15-20 hours worth of gameplay (without grinding or getting bored) - and the content rich updates come fast and frequent.

Well recommmended.

good animation, plenty to mess around with and nice pacing.
the only nit pick i may have is that there are some redundant back traking in the menus.
but i only mention that in the hopes the dev sees it.

example. in the start of the game where you use your laptop to research. instead of closing the menu>then getting a confirmation to stop researching and then again to turn it of. UI wise it would make it a lot more streamlined if its close and done.
if people need to do more they can always click it again.

but as said thats just a nitpick

This game is a fun power/harem fantasy, but what I really like is the frequent high quality updates. This game is being developed at a really good pace. A new sex scene in almost every update, in a game that already has tons of content. While it's not the best porn I've ever seen, it's a lot better quality than a great deal of the stuff on this site. The writing isn't exceptional, but again, above average for this site. Likeable sexy characters. A cool concept. Overall a very good game.

-The games story is interesting and that motivates me to actually play the game, unlike most games. and
-Freedom to navigate is great and even though there is a time schedule, there is no time limit so you can really check out everything.
-Dialog is good, entertaining at times and not long winded while making progress.
---Daily updates and has been doing so consistently. Most game projects like this one break its production release schedules/promises or even hold it hostage to milk peoples money in patreon. But so far not this one and that is great!

-The dungeon features was removed, wth!
-Character stats do not grow proportionally if you continue to play with your save file after it was introduced as past activities do not count.
-models/characters are simple looking or even a little bland but thats the price when using some anime hentai games models and importing them. into this game

Great game, interesting story. The girls are really well done. The animations are top tier, I just wish the sex could be even faster, few games offer us some really fast sex :/
Still the scenes are great.
I passed this games so many times without stopping because the preview screenshots don't look great. We should be able to see what makes this game worthwhile (yes, the sex ofc), not something that isn't even canon yet.
