Just my 2 cents i aint no professional writer or nothing.
The point of the game is to change someone.
corruption could be interpreted as changing someone for the worst
love could be interpreted as changing someone for the best
The nun should have some sort of flaw which allows the mc to either:
- corruption: uses flaw to justify and force her to do more depraved actions
- love: tries to heal flaw or allow her to accept her self for who she is
example:
- nun wants more independence
- this can be increased with money
- corruption: convince her to make an onlyfans and secretly post pics
- love: help her get a job as a barista (convince the father that it would be a good learning experience for her)
it boils down to:
- corruption -> convince her to do what YOU want
- love -> convince her to do what SHE wants
u can have the following endings:
- love path: marriage
- mix path: girlfriend, leaves church
- corruption: toy, leaves church
- bad: mind break, neck rope or running away
Hopefully this makes sense and it doesnt look like I am ranting. Again u dont have to do any of this its just a suggestion. PM if you wanna talk more about this.
I have a bone to pick with this "evil is when you want to change someone to better fit your wants" thing. I constantly hear this mantra of "You need to leave anyone who doesn't 100% love the way you currently are, and isn't currently 100% the way you want", and it's the biggest load of horseshit that's making me despise modern dating. A romantic relationship is not a business partnership between two people, it's a union of lives. This is like expecting a pair of shoes to be broken in for your feet the moment you buy them. (I don't actually quite get what "breaking in" shoes means, all my shoes just kinda fit on me, but I guess it's more of a thing with formal women's footwear.) Expecting a girl to indulge in your wild fantasies is out there, yes, but if it's something you've properly talked through and accepted on equal terms, there's no reason why it has to be immoral. Plus, it makes
actual immorality so much lamer, and basically one-dimensional, because now you've lost all nuance, and can't have a character that is actually helping you out quite a lot, but in a way that will make you entirely dependent on the lifestyle he's introducing you to, which you don't notice, because you've been sheltered from the relevant aspects of life. There's also the fact that changing yourself for someone else doesn't have to be an exclusively bad thing that you do, in exchange for your partner doing the same. It can honestly make you happier, since someone you love is now more attracted to you, which is quite the confidence boost.
I do occasionally enjoy a purposefully black-and-white story, where a character is explicitly evil and abusive. But man, there's far too much of that. Why couldn't you have a proper, non-depraved marriage with a woman that enjoys submitting in bed? It's not exactly Sodom and Gomorrah to have sex with your wife outside of the missionary position. (Although, she'd have to stop being a nun first, and I do not know if that's a thing that is allowed in the church.) From another angle, why would an abusive prick
not want to marry his abusee? Because it would be an acknowledgement of her equal status as an adult human? That's a very little victory in comparison to having now legally chained her to yourself, even if it's a two-way street, and divorce is possible.
My point is: The "good/neutral/bad" ending trifecta is horribly lacking. Obviously, writing a dozen different endings would make the game take forever to make, but still, I'd much rather have a Fallout-style ending, where it's all sort of the same ending, but with many variations. Good Girl Gone Bad (And Our Red String, most probably.) has done it! If I weren't chronically lazy, and did this game myself, I'd set up different values for how much to push her in any given aspect, be that romantic commitment, sexual degeneracy, mental dependency, and isolation from her previous life. I can already think of outcomes like her being pushed to idolise you instead of God, or become a fully subservient wife, as women "used to be" (No they didn't, they chased their husbands down with rolling pins, but many abusive husbands conveniently ignore that part.), or even just a boring ending where you pull her out of the church, readjust her to a modern standard, and never actually start a proper relationship, so she just kinda leaves.
TL;DR: I'm actually reading porn for the story, I know, sue me. But I can't get it up unless the character motivations make sense and are nuanced, so please at least try to do something more than "Good path where you never do anything questionable, bad path where you're an unrepentant arsehole, neutral path where nobody is happy."
