Yes, you're right, his community also criticized that; the scenes were swapped in both routes, and Lisa's actions didn't fit the route either. He was told that too. He really made a mistake there. I think the task was too big for him, especially with the AI chat, which had many problems until almost nothing worked properly in the end, and the regular updates he was supposed to provide.

game was good then the dev lost the plot after the rework, made a mess of it with all the routes. AI chat feature was arguably the worst idea as it cost him money to run & bugged to the max but I will give credit and say it was an interesting and unique feature.
But generally I think this was for the better as the game was definitely not going to last 2 or 3 more patches as you could see the progression / dev time being used poorly and him having no clue how to pace or push the story forward, some updates just felt mega rushed or jumping the gun way too soon.
if he just kept it 1 route, NTR only, I honestly think it would have been a banger game. The NTS route despite good CGs was just a messy route that never made any sense.

I think he shut down the game and himself to completely overhaul it and then relaunch it because there were simply too many problems he couldn't handle in the regular updates anymore. The more updates he had to release, the bigger the problems became, especially with the AI chat. He should completely rework the game and restart it; that would be best. I don't believe he's completely quit; no one who creates a game leaves it unfinished—that would be far too detrimental to their ambition.

The NTR path wouldn't have been bad if he didn't have GF best friend basically outing her affair with that blowjob photo at the end. Also the whole "film us having sex" felt really out of place like fans of ntr route cared aobut Mia's affair with Lucas progressing and not this.
When i asked the dev where he is going with this he said something in the sense that it will be clear in next update alas well here we are.

As someone that has been writing and publishing on the internet for hte last 15 years it's very much a FNG problem. You have to go over it and be able to discern the actual critics from the attack disguise as critics and not let it go up to your head.
Yes there are people that will give genuine negative feedback even if you don't like it, and also yes there are people that will just attack you over anything and nothing to get you to do exactly what boola did. Shut things down.
Now that said, the AI feature was a genuine mistake. How can you implement something that cost you, lone guy with just a lil big of patreon money, what little you can gain? I'm not even speaking about the bugs here, just as a PURE business decision that was bad. OR at that point he should have just bitten the bullet, made an actual chatbox and sold THAT on one of the dozen site where you can do so.
Now the only thing I can hope is that Boola get thicker skin and learn from this as callous as that sound it remain unfortunately true. If you expose yourself and your work you better get ready to get punched in the dick by people that would love NOTHING more than to see you crawl in misery at their feet.
Is there a way to extract images from the game? Wanna check if I missed anything.

It's a shame the developers abandoned the game. It was one of my favorite NTS games, and only one of two with regular updates...

The problem is that it's an Ouroboros. An exponential popularity mean an exponantial cost of operation and an exponential growing cut going only into maintenance.
That's the kind of thing for a TEAM, not a single man.
I’ve been following this game since the developers first released it. It’s really unfortunate if the game ends up being abandoned. 
Version 0.11.5 was only for his gold members, and he had updated the AI chat with short video sequences and more photos, but nothing worked. So you didn't miss anything, because the chat no longer works.
Damn, didn't think the developer would just delete and remove everything. He does has some interesting concept with the AI chat, story still in the early stage of NTS and NTR.
