Thank you my guy. I agree with everything you said, but this game so bad it's good in a terrible way. The writing is like a 15 year old trying to write their first ever edgy fanfic. I can't stop laughing on how bad it is, that's main reason I wanted an updated version so I could laugh at it more.
I was hoping he would fix it but redoing all his work would have been better to know before I bought it.

the latest version(5.3) is largely underdeveloped too many bugs will take another look in a year or two

This is the latest version of the game which is v5.3
the previous version leaked to f95 was v4.0
from examining both versions as well as the changelog.
It appears that they have rebooted the game, again.
But the reboot is smeared over several updates that happened between v4.1 and v5.3.
incidentally. the version numbers are misleading. 5.0 does not mean "big change" anymore. instead they go linearly
v4.1 to v4.2 to v4.3 .... v4.9 to v5.0 to v5.1 to v5.2 to v5.3
this does not mean the f5.3 is the 43rd update though, because they used to have a different system in the past that they changed over to this current method. (plus the game was rebooted already in the past too)
Anyways they rebooted it again via multiple updates.
The intro was rewritten during v4.3 v4.4 v4.5 and some of the v5.x versions
the overworld map was rebooted in v5.1.
etc.
lots of changes were also made that are not clearly listed in the change log but I can observe by playing v5.3.
Furthermore if you try to import any save from v4.0 to v5.3 it immediately crashes to desktop
v5.3 comes prebundled with some saves from the dev. but no clear way to know what is what.
additionally the game automatically selects a language based on your system language. And the prebundled saves were made in spanish.
if you are loading a save in the world map, no issue occurs. it automatically switches to english after the save loads.
If you are loading a save that happens mid scene (such as a sex scene / choice save) then it will NOT switch to english and display the entire scene in spanish.
since there is no clear documentation by dev what choices he made in each savefile (because there are a bunch of choices), combined with the reboot changes. you realistically should just delete the bundled saves and just replay the game from scratch
anyways. v5.3 is super buggy. really not worth playing right now.

Is this game abandoned? Two other games were released and they dont look nothing like this one, it gives the impression that he is no longer interested on ctu

The game is not abandoned. it is however paywalled.
someone needs to buy it for 20$ and leak it before f95 updates it

For those who don't know. The "full" version is a lie.
It is only a small fraction of the scenes.
The deluxe version is the only complete version of the game.

btw as far as I know, when you purchase a game on itch.io it comes with all editions. so it should also let you download the other OS versions too at no additional charge.
can you please also post the mac, linux, and android releases
you can also send them directly to f95 mods via reporting the first post in this thread, selecting game update, and including a link

don't rebuy. it should let you redownload (including future updates) without buying again

I don't understand what you mean by saying this.
are you saying it itch.io is somehow not letting you buy their other games? The same as it did not let you re-buy CTU a second time?
... is it possible that it considers them already purchased because you bought corrupting the universe? try clicking on "I already paid" on the other games too.

it is because it is another url page and it only recognizes the one you buy even if it is from the same author it does not let you download his other games.
