Does this mod work with the new version? Or, actually... Does it just work with any version of the game if there are no significant engine changes?

It shouldn't care of the change in the engine, just the change in the game itself. And the given versions in the OP are here as reference (and because they are mandatory) for any mod OP. They must be read as "confirmed working on", not as "it will only works with".

As for the very last version, the 1.20, it not reached the forum yet, so I can't tell for sure. But, well, unless Mr.C changed radically his game, normally there's absolutely no reason that it don't continue to works. I mean, since the first version I modded (the 0.40) the only case where there was a problem was when he changed the User Interface ; yet it didn't prevented the game to works, just a small part of the mod was invalidated by this change.
When/if I update the mod, it's just to add new features and/or take count of new characters/events never seen before in the game. It was never (once again except the UI change) to correct a appearing incompatibility.

Updated OP with a new version.

I added a tracker for two events, one for the principal, and the other for the actions of Megan in the sex-shop.
I also added the so asked possibility to change the day. Just click on the current day, then select the future one. WARNING, this will not and never sent you back in time.
I corrected two in-game bugs. Now that Utopia have a real use, it don't cost you time when you quit it, and you return where you're expected to be, not necessarily in the street.
Finally, I corrected a bug in the mod itself ; disabling the new User Interface should now works correctly. And I also reworked the configuration interface.

I don't know if it's a bug or not, but when I want to go to the twins room, your mod doesn't give me any choice to choose

At when moment ? The choice for the twins happen only when you use the key to enter in the house.

I mean when we want to get into someone's room, your mod always gives us the choice whether or not the person is doing something or whether the person is in that room or not, but now if I want to go to the twins room the choice doesn't appear anymore so the twins will appear randomly in the room

What you talk about is for Aunt Julia. The only possible empty locations in her house are the yard and her room if you chose to masturbate. For the twins, you only have just one choice, it's to decide if you'll show the bedroom scene, or the bathroom one, when you decide to decide to spy on them after having used the key to open the door of aunt's house.
I can have made mistakes here or there, because it was already 11PM here when I was finally able to test with the new update and I tested it until around 3AM, but I'm 100% sure of that. There were never another choice for the twins, neither in the game nor in my mod.

Talking about mistake, I made one in the mod. The choice related to the backyard was incorrect. When I updated the choice to "they are in the yard with Julia's husband", I changed the wrong option :( I correct this in the version 1.12 I just uploaded.

Is the 1.12 version has been uploaded yet? I cant download it, it keep saying no file in my browser.

These games are produced over such a long time, it is understandable for people to ignore and forget about screenshots that they have already seen many months before. I would think most people look at them the first time, and then never again.
