Ren'Py - Completed - Corruption [Final] [Mr.C]

My review for version 1.70.

Plus:

• More than 40 women to penetrate and more than 60 to have sexual interactions with.
• The mechanics are simple as hell
• Lots of nasty kinks
• Taboos. Damn, i'm not that depraved yet.
• There will be more content.

Minus:

• Like most reviews said, the models became less attractive the more they corrupted.
• The game makes corrupting people not fun. It is almost effortless.
• There are barely any creampie. Most of the time the MC shoots outside.
• The tits are humongous.
• Some area of the map are clickable even though it is not indicated. It makes me confused and can't progress.
• Some character progress are not matching with the other. For example, the woman on the train is willing to strip in front of the police even when she isn't supposed to be corrupted enough to do that.
• The game says "that's all for this version" even when i haven't see all available content for the character.
• The game should tell me that there are some contents to see before i choose to use more potion.

Overall, this is a good game. If you're looking for quick fap, this game is for you.

Highly recommend the AON cheat to progress faster and ensure you see everything (otherwise you need to do some grinding to catch the right scenes).

Honestly, I love this game for its simplicity. While the story and introduction to all of the characters has been greatly expanded upon in recent udpates, it's still overly simple in comparison to the more story driven corruption games out there.

This game is more of a sandbox. While certain things are required for progression to be moved forward, it's really minimal.

What I love is the no holds barred themes. You can corrupt the main character's mom and sister and then have them both play with each other. Enough said.

In the avenues of Ren'Py towns and set places, I try and be as honest as possible in what comes walking down this road of smuttery.

So, I'll try and be a little less wordy in this review, considering that the premise of Corruption is simple. It's what a lot of people want, a sandboxy type of world with lewd chicks that want nothing more than for you to corrupt them then later bang them (hence the title). Typical cookie cutter gameplay in ticking the numbers up through potions in getting any available female in the immediate vicinity to became yet another pool of h-scenes. And there's a lot of ladies in the game with a bunch of scenes that reflect both their level of corruption, and having accompanying scenes as well (such as their clothing and the way they address you).

Why three stars though? Isn't that a good thing? Isn't that what everyone wants? Sure, but in a way as well people want substance as well, and this game isn't really substance, more so hentai-cliches of ahegao and characters that turn into mindless sexual beasts in due time without that nice build up, or having no real soul in terms of characterisation after all that (or even leading up to that). In porn alone, if you want a cheap crank without punishing yourself and not really caring about any real characterization, just enough there for people to serve their purposes/contexts, then this game is good enough, even better than good enough in the amount of content it throws at you porn-wise (if you use the cheat mod and skip all that drudgery of grind). As, it has repeatable scenes, random re-occuring scenes, special corruption level up scenes, sultry clothing, all that good stuff you probably already understand for this roundabout formula.

But like I said, nothing more than really porn you're getting out of this game. And like the many hentai cliches we may or may not be accustomed to, then get used to as mentioned a lot of ahegao, a lot of peace sign fingers whilst being banged, giga-titty characters, and more. If that's not your thing, then you probably will be turned off for a lot of the scenes, it did for me in some spots since it comes of as silly in my opinion.

And past all the porn heavy characters, there's no real story to the game. Just you as the MC which isn't all that much a character either, just a guy that can serve as a vessel for both dong for thirsty thots and occasional thoughts and snippets of dialogue that really lead nowhere in particular.

In the end, 3/5. Should you pass this up? No, I think it's good for a once over, one of the games you keep around to just have some fun when time is pressed or you don't have anything on hand and aren't going through f95zone for the fifth time in an hour. But like I explained, not the greatest amount of substance behind all the porn, but if you just want the crank then try the game. Also, use the cheat mod, don't hurt yourself over what this game ultimately provides.

The Game is very interesting, i very like it this game because the girls like a whores and mc can all girls in the city, its very amazing i will still wait this game update and i wish in the next update the girls have more slut costum and we can change the custom, more action we can play with girls like a play with sex toys, lactating breast, more girls we can corrupt and party sex bitch so the point is in the next update i wish the game is more hardcore and the girls is more slut then now. Stupid, almost non-existent story. Generic unappealing models. Rather mediocre graphics. I don't understand why it gets so high ratings. If you want to fap to HoneySelect images - there are a lot lesss grindy ways to do that.

Very very repetitive and grindy (intolerably boring), cheating is basically mandatory. Score is assuming you cheat and with mods.

Doesn't seem like there's much of a story here. It's basically a corrupt-them-all-thon. The writing doesn't really pull you in or is immersive or believable.

There's a big variety of targets though and it's fun experiencing the different scenarios. Kudos to a healthy and well-executed quantity-based approach. None of the scenarios are outstanding but they are varying complexity and competently written. You can tell that the writer put effort into making each scenario worthwhile and distinct, which is more than could be said for most games where scenarios can get procedural.

I don't really have any advice for the author except to keep on doing what you're doing and execute it better. At this point I think making the writing believable / immersive would be too weird and making an interesting story is unnecessary.

I'm just hoping that eventually a couple of the scenarios will show themselves to be truly ambitious and involved and really make us care for the character, and then this would be a 5 star.

Edit: This review spent a lot of words on negatives but it's actually the best game in the genre. Most grindy / points based VNs on the site where you hit on 10+ girls like something unlimited (which ironically has a higher rating on the site) are pure garbage, and I'm not even going to bother reviewing them. Many of the scenarios in this game while not reaching the heights of literature or a top tier story is still far superior to the nonsense in other games, they are very decent. The only reason why I think this game has a lower rating than something like Something Unlimited is that its introductory quality already puts it on a higher class of experience than that game. That I would even use the words "immersive" to criticize this game is already a compliment, something that would not in a million years apply to most other games like it.

You can compare this game to something like Witcher 3. It gets pretty close to greatness but is missing those couple of really superb sidequests.

Other games are more like mobile garbage that's not even in the same universe of comparison. So it's actually kind of unfair that I'm here with my high standards taking points off for issues that I wouldn't even think of pointing out for shittier games.

My reviews are short and to the point, but they are not objective, everything is from my POV:

I'm a guy who is strictly into hardcore fetishism. No romance VN without incest and golden showers. If it has bestiality and scat, gameplay doesn't even matter. Story is only a vehicle for taboo, and no more.

This game is, in the above mentioned sense, nearly perfect. There's just enough of a story so that you know the chick you are pissing on, and having drink your pee, is in fact your own mother.

The sex is rather insane, the social taboo is amazing and the self insert fan fiction that is this story is beyond amazing, if completely bare-bones. You will not be playing the porn version of S1-3 GoT.

That being said, the grind is horrible, cheats are a must for a second play-through, and once the models get completely corrupted they are downright HIDEOUS. Still the taboo situations (sex in public with MILFS in front of their own husbands and shit).

Highly recommended if you are into the tags this game has. Not recomended if you absolutely need a story and real characters to get invested.

Not only is this game still buggy as hell past 1.5, it places far too much emphasis on the man for a game primarily about sex with women. This game is considered one of the better ones on this site, but it's only by comparison, even where the game shines relatively, it's sub par compared to the development of mainstream, or even most non porn indie games.

Corruption is one of my favourite genres. This is the main reason Corruption was one of my first games I played since joining the F95Zone community. I’ve been following the updates quite religiously and Mr.C does provide updates quite frequently, so if there are any bugs they are quickly fixed.

Corruption as it’s namesake is about corrupting everyone in the town who are of the female gender of the homo sapiens species. It’s fun, crazy and wack.

The models are beautiful and the H-scenes are incredibly well done. Environments are nicely varied however the quality of each scene may vary (looking at the other area outside of town; the name escapes me). The models themselves are good but the appeal may vary for each person. Honey select models are a hit or miss with most players. My biggest grip with this game is that there is no way for characters to wear costumes from previous corruption level, I really don’t like the higher-level corruption styles, it irks me to no end. (This can be solved using mods to manually alter the corruption level but it removes access to actions tied to certain corruption levels)

Gameplay wise it plays pretty simple. You earn money to buy the corrupting potions and you eventually can unlock the ability to buy variants of that potions. Money comes by pretty easily and it is encouraged to explore all jobs so you can meet all the characters in the game. The game itself feels sandbox-like allowing you to do whatever you like. Some characters are closed off until you complete certain tasks. Moving around the map can be a pain sometimes. Overall easy to play. Some areas are currently in development.

The story is takes a backseat in this game with the characters really driving the experience. Story is simple: corrupt, corrupt and corrupt. Any action you perform builds towards corrupting the female characters. The characters are quirky, fun and a little crazy after they have a sniff of the potent potion. It’s great seeing the changes to their personality and overall appearance (although a little worse for some).

One of the main concerns with this game is Mr.C introducing new characters and areas without finishing previous characters and areas. However it doesn’t concern me because of the frequent updates that Corruption gets. As long as there is new content I’m happy.

Pros...
There's a TON of women. An amazing number.
Many of those women, in at least some of their art depending on their corruption level, are gorgeous. I mean if this is your preferred body type, and if you're playing it it probably is, there are some busty curvy gems in here, thick goddesses, best part of the game.
Many types of sex scenes and fetishes, the game definitely understands it's corruption genre and earns it's name, and while the render alignments aren't always the best they're good and the scenes... there are So Many.
Good mods out to help play.
Despite it's size any grind is balanced behind near constant reward.

Cons...
The bimbofication can go too far and you can't do new content with them with their old look. Some of the women definitely get less sexy passed a point. Some people below made clown comments and unfortunately yeah, it's a little harsh but a few hit that point. I find the piercing renders generally sexy but that too can kind of get borderline, hopefully none start going full hellraiser.
There is a relatively new scene in a park, you'll know it when you see it, surprised me. It's apparently allowed here, not arguing that, huge divergence from the other women though. Isn't my kink like all the rest are, maybe someone can mod it out someday.
Maybe the biggest game issue is it's too ambitious at times, some of the women's looks do start to blur into one another and development on whole swaths of the world stagnates, old stuff is left unfinished while content gets bloated with new things. It might be nice if it just focused on refining current content for awhile.

The woman is freaking great with a lot of path and many storyline to explore plus literally everyone have big tits!! The gameplay is more grinding but it's enjoying piece by piece of the story of how u approach for the full female sex which is super intriging for player to feel the excitement!

Corruption and depravity, don't expect anything less.


With 8 hours of gameplay, comes 7.30 hours of porn, and most of it is novel.

People will look back at this game as the first real merge of the complex fetish manipulation of japan (and the nukige, where porn is 90% of the game) and the western desire for an engaging narrative and control.

It's best to think of this game as a game, not a visual novel, the narrative is driven by the CGs not the writing. Which is increadible, when you think about what is normally the case. That said: read the guide, specifically the warnings. This game isn't finished.

The bad English at the start DOES NOT matter. Having played princess trainer, lab rats, witch trainer and something unlimited, this game is actually the best porn game out of all of them. The quality of the CG's and narrative override to occasional mistake. I guarantee all the bad reviews didn't bother playing longer than 5 minutes.

I normally need good English to watch/read/play anything. The level of sexual creativity and fetish layering is quite amazing, and overides this need. I look forwards to it's completion

Used to love this game but with every update this progressive bimbo transformation of every girl started to feel uncomfortable after a while, I feel like I'm playing with clowns with all this makeup. Plus there is no way to avoid the voyeur part with every girl with other men.

Really great game, it's straight to the point, it's easy to manage and it avoids being too long before the action starts. I recommend it to any beginner of renp'y as there is no time limit and no choice that are unsolvable even if you miss some of them the first time.

Be careful about the fact that scenes disappear after reaching a new corruption level, so try every option before administering the potions again.

Needs more content, but honestly It's a pretty good game. A lot drawings and a pretty hilarious premise. the problem is you cannot advance too far in some of the storylines without locking out large parts of the game right now, which is a complete drag. Once the developer makes it so that actually playing the game to its full extent doesn't hurt the quality, it will be way easier to reward this a higher rating because it is a strong game.

Game is Grade frickin A. Perfect kind of corruption, none of that mind control stuff, just slu...I mean girls being slutty girls, animation is pretty good, and there is a good amount of different content

I was going to play this game again after 8 months or so, but that horrid English "translation" yanked me right out of it.

I like the game a lot the first time around, but I must have forgotten that there isn't an English translation for it. How the dev hasn't been able to find someone to help him with this is beyond me. FYI, most of the world speaks English. And no, it isn't my first language either.

So, instead of another play through, it's gonna hit the trashcan.

Too bad.
