Can you spell this out more? I always choose being a virgin, in which case the BFF seems always to be into Open Relationships. Is there a difference in other cases?

How much content does this have compared to DoL (I'm going off the assumption that this is a DoL-like based on the screenshots)

It is DoL-like, just more vanilla. It does have a lot of content already, but if you compare it to DoL it obviously has a lot less. This game is in development for around a year now. DoL has been around for ages. The dev is really active though and listens to the community a lot. Just recently, because of the introduction of KittyPatcher and Modloader, a little modding community was formed, which will bring more content to the game in the future too. So if you're asking, if you can savely start playing this game without getting bored quickly, I would say you definitely can.

• You can now choose some inclinations when creating your character to define your starting personality
• Added Lucky inclination: sometimes produces better than expected outcomes from skillchecks, and reduces the chances of wardrobe malfunctions
• Added Unlucky inclination: sometimes produces worse than expected outcomes from skillchecks, and increases the chances of wardrobe malfunctions
• Added Iron Will inclination: Always perform a bit better at Willpower skillchecks
• Added Easily Pressured inclination: Always perform a bit worse at Willpower skillchecks
• Favorite positions are now proper inclinations and can be unlocked by the player
• Added colored contacts as a new cosmetics option
• Each eye is an individual cosmetics slot, so your character can now have heterochromatic eyes
• Implemented aftercare system, which will come between the end of (some) encounters and resuming the story, and will allow for things like the alleviation of effects from negative Fleeting Feelings, Romance attitude increases, and resuming the encounter for round two
• Edited a few pre-0.5 events that failed to acknowledge relationships: discovering the Regisaur, the cheerleader-footballer post-game, and spreading rumors

• Once suspicion is maxed, the secret relationship may become exposed. Your secret partner will be reluctant to be seen in public, but may still agree to see you privately
• A fully exposed secret relationship will be treated as confirmed cheating by any exclusive romantic partner (Currently there are no direct consequences for an exposed relationship with faculty, but they’ll be coming!)
• Secret relationship suspicion will begin decaying naturally when you haven’t been seen in public together recently

Don't mean to be whiny if I'm not a subscriber and hence am getting this for free, but does anyone else think there's not a whole lot in this update? Lots of stuff for cheaters, but not so much for others.

It's just a monthly update. Monthly updates are usually smaller. This one in particular is probably smaller because 0.6, which is one of the big roadmap updates, will most likely be released this month as well.

Make sure you start from scratch this time
1. Download the Modloader zip
2. Unzip it to it's own folder
3. Add my mods folder
4. Add KittyPatcher 0.1.4
5. Rename CourseOfTemptation-Modloader to CourseOfTemptation.html
6. Run KittyPatcher
7. Open the HTML
Make sure you're using 0.5.4 or higher. older versions won't work. Newer versions may or may not work but they will probably work better

I tried this and it did not work for me. Step by step. I have CoT-ModLoader-v0.5.4f-v2.21.0 from the games discord. I don't know what to download and how to inject it myself. Maybe the problem with that file. It works fine by itself but KittyPatcher just overrides it. Thank you for providing me with instructions.

Something happened which I thought was borderline hilarious.

Some classmate called me asking for a date. I looked up his info, and it said his sexual orientation as "gay". So I went to his place and we watched the movie and such. And we went from spooning to...actual sex. With me. As a straight female character in this game.

Don't know if this is a bug, or my female character in this game was just so tempting for him despite him being gay. ha.

The classmate could be deep in the closet, not still ready to accept himself, just trying to satisfy his parents aspectations or simply exploring.. i know many people married and with children that discovered later their liking..

That is talking about RP causes about his behavior..
Dunno if a bug, but there're also many straight that exploring on the same side also..

It's a huge River Rat extension. You can work there now as a waiter and over time influence the owner to make certain changes to the place. You can also become a manager of that place over time and can basically turn it into a tiddy bar or something as far as I know. Also many smaller additions I think.
I don't know when it comes out, but dev said it's almost done and will most likely become early access at some point this month.

Could be. I looked at his inclinations and "Loner" and "Nerd" were 2 of them. And it said I took his virginity. So between being horny and a bit high, maybe he just decided to go for it. I know when I was in college there were people horny enough to pretty much nail anything that moved.

I just RP'ed it by keep saying, "But..but..I thought you were gay?" And he would just keep hissing me and fondling me until I just gave into my feelings and let it happen.

The Roadmap topic usually is chosen there (Patreon)..

I personally would like see other parts implemented sooner of it..
Just need patience and soon or later all the topics in the Roadmap will come..

To represent pregnancy (and its result ) in a somewhat realistic and coherent manner would need so much work...there is just a lot of other stuff that would make much more sense to implement first.

Not specifically about this, but I have absolutely seen games get completely derailed for the worse because the dev catered to the niche kink of a vocal part of patreon. It sucks to see an update to a game you enjoy and realize 90% of the content has suddenly become about diapers or something.

Again, not saying CoT does this, I've liked all the content and trust the dev.
