RPGM - Court Magician [v0.18.5] [Sin and Salvation Games]

Very impressed by what I saw.

A sandbox corruption trainer isn't an easy feat to pull off, with many more failures than successes, but the bones/mechanics are already completed.

They also got potions, divination amongst others spells which are an interesting feature even without the full corruption yet in, which is more than what I expected.

The narrative and potential candidates are also already planted, you can roughly see who are the targets. The outline is there just need to watch the rest fill in. Watching this title with great interest.

Seething with potential and some surprisingly compelling writing.

Don't be fooled by the screenshots however. At present there is little more H-content than a couple of spanking scenes with the maid and a BJ from a slave.

Games in the industry being as they are, I would say check back in later, like at least a year, so that you might be better rewarded for playing the game with some more scenes. That being said, this honestly has the quality to become a good game. I found myself enjoying even in it's current state AS A GAME (not as a method for whacking off xD)

Something worth noting is that the scenes in-game are all animated and achieving this, and coding it all, is a massive pain in the ass for the dev not only because animation takes time but RPGmaker is a prick of a software.

And speaking of scenes: there are variations based on your choice of mask later on (Wolf is saucier), as well as some hidden art here and there, and some disciplining scenes with the Baroness if you fancy grinding her out a bit. I'll be waiting for while before returning but if you give the game a go do check these out.

Very promising little game.

The graphics are nice, and the mechanics not to complicated. The training system seems promising, with a somewhat complicated world with different factions etc. I liked the story and the writing is good.

The game is still early in development without too much content - and a few bugs.

The game is fun, i really like it. Not too grindy. I didn't feel there was much content though.

One less star because the game has some bugs and sometimes they prevent you from going on with the quests. Other times the game might crash, so save often.

This game is honestly gonna be something great given time. The writing alone is a 5/5 and the gameplay itself shows just as much promise. The only cons is the MC is REALLY ugly and there's no way of avoiding that sometimes, though given the whole point of the story I understand why. Still that would be my only "criticism" I hope they might create some way for the MC to transform themself, maybe into a Goblin or Orc in the future to at least make an ugly character with that "ugliness" being a trait of the race itself (it would also make sense for the story) rather than just the MC being in general ugly to be ugly.

Keep an eye on this game, in a few months or year you'll have something really unique to come back to.

This is a new and very ambitious game. It is focused on the concept of corrupting and dominating all sorts of beautiful ladies from a peasant girl to the members of nobility! You play as a hideous and scheming magician, and you will use every trick and technique to get into their panties.

Positives:
- well developed world and lore
- the feeling of guilt and corruption on the women is well done
- many mechanics from verbal skills, to potions to master add variety
- many different girls to make yours

Negatives:
- the game sometimes has bugs, like one which the screen goes black and you need to hard reset
- some assets clash in style with each others, like one character looks like stock rpgm and the other looks like western fantasy characters, but I suppose this will disappear as the game progresses.

To summarize, Court Magician is a nice addition to the fantasy, corruption, and netori genres, and I totally recommend you checking it out!

Five stars for the writing. Honestly, this game is hilarious. The main character is at this perfect balance between relateable and monstrous.

The art is great, the content is a bit lacking, but I can't find it in me to give it any less than five stars.


The only complaint that I would level is that, getting through the content the game does have, I spent a bit more time than I would have liked doing some menial stuff like reading all the books. Maybe if the introduction was a bit more scripted, this early release would flow better.

I can't give such an unfinished game a 5 star. Despite the completely inconsistent artstyle and lack of content, I was really impressed with the direction. It gave lots of interesting choices, it felt like an actual RPG that requires the player's attention and yet managing not to be too confusing. This game seems to have a huge scope, but I do hope this amounts to something in the future.

This game shows a lot of promise and I am looking forward to seeing where it goes. It stands out with what it is trying to do and I think with time and hard work it will be a really fun experience. As it is now it already has some good content but it's a bit rough in the edges. Absolutely worth trying, but don't sink too much time into your save, it will probably become invalid in later version.

I liked the game, the plot is interesting, I like such games, the playability is good and the sound is normal, the animation is good, I think there will be more content to start with,The game is original and the performance is normal

The game is in a very early stage. It looks quite promising though. There are already various gameplay elements which can be expaned upon.

The story and characters are fun, gave me a few chuckles. However it's too early to play it for the H-scenes, too few of them.

It's really hard to call this game a worthy experience yet. Incredibly buggy, very light on sex scenes (virtually non-existent) and by god do yourself a favour and skip the intro, because the "humor" in it is some of the cringiest writing I've ever read in a porn game (which is already a pretty low standard).

Also, whoever put a motherfucking explosion as the first sound you hear in this game probably just wants you dead. Again, do yourself a favour, and take your headphones off until you can adjust the volume. That alone made me want to give this game a 1 star.

That said, it's not all bad, the gameplay has some potential, when there's finally something to do. So probably come back in a year and check if it became any better at all. Because right now it's just an empty shell of a game.

I only played beta, but I am not convinced it will be a good game.

It has a lot of pointless things, like interacting with npcs (it does nothing), skill leveling (worst script ever, makes skills more expensive without making them any better), limited items, skills itself that do nothing and there is something off about few scenes that it had (I am talking ones with mask and slave mainly), it just felt... wrong, like mechanically wrong.

I think beta had like 6 scenes. 2 for slave/totem, 4 for duchess with 2 for each route. (no real sex with duchess, just some... massage I think?I don't really remember now, that's how forgettable it was).

I wanted to post a 5-star review because this dev has done enormous work for this game. I might disagree with its scope, and it's indeed too early to say where this will end, but the work being done is, indeed, there.

Also, ugly guy for MC is a refreshing take on adult games, as it's extremely rare to find that.

A very unique adult in both gameplay design as well as art style. The story set up in some fantasy medieval period, you play as an evil ugly fat court magician who try to enslave people. Even though there are a lot of decent BDSM game already on this site, none of them has successfully combined training as well corruption interface in a decent way. This game stands out because it has very pleasant 2D art style instead of cliche Das 3D model.

What's more I can tell is that the author really put effort in creating game UI. Instead of traditional RPGM game that barely shows any effort, I was surprised by this game's system design that perfectly match its setting.

Lastly, it's one of the few RPGM that support Mac OS. I have no problem running in on my M2 MacBook Air.

This is the best thing I've seen on here for a while. So much fun to be had playing a Gargamel - lookin' wizard. Can't wait to recharge my goblin energy in the maids. And court intrigue too. You can really get into being a little troll in this one.

TL;DR: It's good for an early release and has a lot of room to grow.

It's pretty good for an early release, the plot is good enough, there really seems to be a lot of features in development, the fetishes are developed enough for a first release, I personally didn't find any major bugs or crashes, some minor annoyances but nothing beyond the expected at this stage in development, there is enough content to the game to be quite enjoyable already, however many things remain without an end.

The only significant criticism that isn't just "add more stuff" is the UI while talking to NPCs, the idea is good, and I have seen it work really well in other games however as it is now it is mostly a press here to bug the game.

I am pretty excited for future updates, and when (hopefully not if) this game is fleshed out more it may become one of the more feature deep games here.

Good potential, but there are lots of crashes and bugs.

The art is nice, and the concept is too. I think its kind of cute how the creator has this themed around "consential roleplay", where the characters kind of banter back and forth and sort of break the 4th wall.

Good idea, decent art, but needs to be refined more. I'm interested in this game's future at least.
