CPU and GPU compatibility

Hello guys!
soo im new in daz and kinda new some help
in general low CPU can bottleneck good GPU , cuz it can't handle powerful gpu so result won't be same as with good cpu and good gpu.
is it same in daz? i have i5 3330 but can't really afford getting better one. and want to upgrade my gpu.
soo i have eyes on gtx 1080 ti. so my questin is that: does my low cpu affect rendering time even with good gpu? or it doesn't matter?

Unfortunately I have no understanding of rendering (not my metier) but when playing video games you (might) have to deal with bottleneck. It depends on the game / application though.

There were some few really affordable Ryzen-CPUs (Ryzen 3, some R5s) but now it's hard to find one, at least in my area.
(But since you have a Intel MB, it doesn't matter.)
