I love this game. It's unique, emotional, and it has a ton of choices that change how the game plays out. It's a story first game, so there isn't much in the way of erotic content. That's not a complaint, as I think it's perfect the way that it is.

This is a really sweet story about two broken people trying to make each other happy. Yet, it's also completely terrifying. Lizzie is extremely volitile, and trying to choose the right thing to say is very stressful. I've played it over a dozen times, and whenever things go wrong, I always feel as if it were my fault and that I let Lizzie down. So I restart and keep searching for the perfect path. There are a lot of interesting variations in the story, and the game isn't terribly long, so replaying it is quite enjoyable. I'm very impressed at how the author could make a crazed stalker into a someone that you care for.

The first game I've ever felt the need to review.

    (SPOILER FREE!)

While my initial intention was to simply play this for the porn and spooks (yandere best dere), I found myself surprised. Within the first five minutes, I realised this game was special. I don't know if it was the creator's intent, but I've never related to a game's protagonist quite as much as I did to John. The art was beautiful and blended with the music (though supplied royalty-free courtesy of Kevin MacLeod) to create a wonderfully surreal yet intimate experience.

The game certainly wouldn't be for everyone; there wasn't nearly as much erotic content as I'd expected, in fact, I believe there's only two scenes and you can very easily miss one of them.

I was fortunate enough to get the 'good' ending on my first playthrough, and I feel confident that, after save-scumming to see the other endings, I found the only fulfilling conclusion. Assuming, of course, you become as attached to John and Lizzie as I did.

If you have a couple of hours to kill, don't mind dark themes and emotional rollercoasters then I can't recommend Crimson Gray enough. Even if it doesn't arouse you, it leaves you emotionally invested enough to see it through to the (potentially bitter-sweet) end.

One of the first Visual Novels i've ever played, even though i've played others after that, Crimson Gray still one my favorites, i like how it explores the theme of depression, and also, Lizzie is my favorite crazy girl

Good story. It's not porn, but it doesn't matter. All aspects of this game are decent. There's really nothing to complain. I finished one (happy) ending, and I liked it. However, ending itself could be a little bit longer, with a little bit more details.
    Trully recommended to play this.

The best visual novel I've ever played.
Not much H-Scenes but great story.
The multiple choice/actions really does make a difference.
Even if you are as dead as the male protagonist inside, it will make you feel something.

Interesting story, but little to no sex involved. It's a nice yandere visual novel but you can only have sex with her once on a good path.
