Try reducing the game speed to 50% in settings. Avoiding the affected area will become noticeably easier.
how do you move the game window? it's stuck half-way off my screen and since it has no title bar i cannot drag it around...
overall seems like a good question, why doesn't the game have normal borders and title bar? seems like a rather weird design decision to me.
it also locks your cursor despite being windowed, even in the menus. it would be nice if atleast in the menus it would unlock the cursor (ie allow it outside the bounds of the window).

Previously, the game hasn't been receiving a ton of content updates due to issues with the creator's personal life that I won't go into for brevity's sake. Recently though, they finished rewriting the whole story basically, and are currently working on new features like more color palettes for Alicia (the main character), and after the new story is finished & some other things are finished being polished up (I presume) we'll be seeing things like the map being expanded or new gear items etc. The game isn't dead, but progress is certainly slow. There's a daily devlog channel in the discord where both Orexius (the main artist) and Anon42 (the dev) post what they've done for the day. Usually it doesn't seem like much, but progress is progress nonetheless & is actively being worked on once again.

someone please help im stuck at the warp puzzle in the summit i cant get enough distance to grapple. ive even slowed the game down as much as possible and i dont know what im doing wrong i just cant make it

9 years later, no release date in sight, content got removed, and the lolcow dev's now haunting his own piracy forum like a demented phantom, getting glazed by Stockholm syndrome ridden paypigs. ain't that just the perfect tragedy! I stood by this dev's side, supported and prayed for him during his homeless period, hoping he would get back on his feet. but honestly, this is just pathetic at this point, what else does it take to release this god damn game? why change the game to fit Patreon's retarded standards rather than shift to a new monetization model or platform? is Patreon the most important thing in the world to you people? even more than your own creations?

Short answer is they've had a bunch of personal problems but they're plugging away as best as they can.

I actually wanna highlight that Anon has done an exceptional job with the transparency during the downtime. I think that's gone really underappreciated. Having the brass balls to put out at least one update a month without fail despite knowing this criticism is out there waiting for any excuse (or none at all, in some cases). With details of what's being done and proof of new content whenever it's something visible. We're all inured to creators having personal issues and games dying on the vine because of it, but nope, not this one. This team is basically setting the gold standard in this kind of scenario. If Anon is still reading he should be proud of it.
