People have been calling it "Patreon scam" literally since page 1, by your logic nobody would have ever supported the dev and the game would have died 8 years ago. We are now 128 pages later and the game is one of the highest rated on the website.

So, you are free to support or not support if you think the progress is not fast enough, but telling others actively not to support and calling everyone a scammer is just sabotage, with people like you it would have stopped on page 1.

With this kind of comments the only thing you guys have really achieved is that the dev has stopped interacting with this thread entirely and I'll probably unwatch it too because now it's just non-stop rants & complaints. Since it's a GameMaker game you would think there'll be tons of people trying to mod it or make fan art like in Parasite in City. But nope, for some reason this thread is just about 1) debating if "the game is abandoned????" and 2) self-praising each other for not getting "scammed" of the money you never intended to give in the first place.
Well I finished a mod a couple of weeks ago but waited for v1.48 to come out instead of posting it.
But in the meantime, you could still try it out. Here it is :

Mod changes :
- Debug menu enabled at start
- Damage now increases libido by the same amount
- You can't get damaged while masturbating
- Max libido while in water now makes you captureable on enemy contact.
- Some enemies had their difficulty increase (faster attack, or movement speed)
- I've added more vines, slimes, cum shooter and nest throughout the game.

I'm working on an enemy randomizer right now.

But in the meantime, you could still try it out. Here it is : CPE_v0.47_mod.zip

Mod changes :

quickly tried your mod and found a couple of your new vines close to the base that are too close to the ground, leaving you stuck in the terrain with no way out

I don't get this compulsion to attack and defend the "honor" of developers.
If you think the dev is worth funding, fund them.
If you don't, don't.
If there's a reason you are or aren't funding, and it isn't already in the thread, sure, post it, it adds to the conversation.

But none of us can create or destroy a dev's following. Beyond your one wallet, they're gonna get what they're gonna get, whether they deserve it or not. It's outta my hands and outta yours.

Now quit shitting up the thread with useless dev honor debates. I wanna hear about updates and stuff or hear nothing at all.

Take the hint. If all you're gonna do is complain, nobody wants to see that shit except you, so just don't. Calling people fanboys instantly for *gasp!* sticking up for creators has become rather popular lately and is also extremely cringe.

The third one should be an easy fix as moving it up to the ceiling will naturally give it enough space underneath.

The other two could maybe be removed? I personally feel you might have overdone it with all the vines everywhere, can't even enter some rooms without getting caught immediately.

Dev team clearly lacks strong leadership and proper management.
Thus the lack of direction, rare updates consistent of meaningless redraws and rewrites and waste of perfectly good assets (old CGs) are proof. At this point this game will never be finished unless something drastically changes.
Which is a shame because Crisis Point is one of the best h-games our there and can even be considered a solid indie metroidvania without h-elements.
My only real gripe is writing which is horrendous graphomaniac shallow waste of good VAs. When writing fiction you don't write "small talk" like irl because even irl a lot of people find it annoying. Unless your dialogue works for character/plot/lore development and/or gives meaningful information tied to gameplay - it's meaningless and a waste of time. Dialogue has to have purpose, that's Writing 101. Crisis Point is THE FIRST TIME EVER i've skipped never heard dialogue because endless blabbering about nothing hurts my ears.

Ah, thanks for the screenshots. I removed the first 2 and moved the 3rd.

I did place a lot of vines, as I want to try and dodge them instead of letting myself get captured.
I'll place less of them in the v0.48 mod I'll do.

If you want to mod the game yourself:
I left all the details of my changes in the "MOD changelog.txt" file.

***CHANGES
- Debug menu enabled at start
- Damage now increases libido by 20 at minimum or the same amount of damage if higher than 20.
- Max libido while in water now makes you capturable on enemy contact.
- You can't get damaged while masturbating. (Can be used as a form of guard against damage now.)
- Some enemies had the difficulty increase (faster attack, faster movement speed, etc) Still scales with the game difficulty selected at the start

***3 Game mods :
No random = same original enemies
Half Random = enemies are random by categories (slimes or fly; lurkers or Torguis or jellyfish; Shield sentry or Crystal dragon; Every other enemy)
Full random = all enemy types area in the random pool (slimes or fly; Every other enemy)

Random enemies are changing on every room change.
(Some enemies might be stuck on the floor or floating through. The game isn't foolproof for random.)
