I killed the boss in Deel Soil. What do I do next?
I'm reasonably sure you haven't actually beaten the boss judging by that map, but rather the poison alarune, which means various platforms have stopped being withered by the poison and you can shoot them to make them unfurl. You can find a grip upgrade if you explore more I believe.

Also there's a level at the other end of the map if you feel sick of plants and want mazes instead.

I beat the poison alarune, then running around but couldn't do or reach anymore thing

Initially, you can find about 3 poisonous Alraune. But to remove the "poisonous purple fog" you need to kill 5-6 of these monsters (this is so that the twisted plants can become "platforms" to rise higher).

Moreover, you will not be able to go far in the Deep Lands until you visit the catacombs and get the Fire upgrade there, which will burn the "thickets" that prevent you from going deeper or further.

Most likely, you will not be able to get "gloves" to the catacombs, but you will also not be able to go through the catacombs without gloves. You will have to actively use teleports.

When you defeat the "catacombs" and all the Poisonous Alraune, you will be able to kill the boss of the Deep Lands (the Boss with a sniper rifle and "ricochets"), and then get another upgrade "weighted boots", which will allow you to move underwater.

That's what I did. Beat some Alraune, got twisted plants, running around found something but couldn't reach them. 1739043786826.png

It is for such "ledges" that gloves are needed, they will allow you to cling to the ledges and "climb/pull yourself up" a little higher.

As far as I remember, it is somewhere in the Deep Soil behind the "thickets" that burn from fire attacks (the fire upgrade is the "center of the catacombs").

I just got fire melee attacks from the catacombs and it helps.
And I'm so blind, there's a way here I didn't see.
TYSM guys.

Does anybody know where the current game ends? I've gotten the climbing ability and don't know where I need to go to progress further.

You mean ledge grab?
Yes there is still ways to go. I don't remember exacly where to fo though.

You will know whennthe game ends because there will be a message stating that you've reached the end of currect content.

Also occasional black bars over doors saying that say you can't go through or similar.

It's weird to me that they're still implementing mechanics like that.
They could just create the finishing sequence and call the game finished...it's fine, really...

True, game is more than full already, 3-4 stages (I forgor) a story a lot of stuff to explore yet they keep either reworking or adding stuff that's honestly could just be post release updates

well, we are still getting releases here. so, in a way, that IS what they're doing.
I, for one, am happy this keeps getting the occasional update/extra content. it was finished enough a couple years back when I first found it. still improving though.
just gotta see it from the right perspective: this is a completed game that keeps getting addons. Anon just hasn't hit the button yet.

Really? Last I remember there was gonna be more to the story and you're left at that underwater base. That also has several potential areas to check out in a next update. Looks like they have more planned than what is being called completed rn.

Then you have those doors once you reach that one part where it says devs didn't add it in yet. If anything that implies it's not finished yet. That isn't to say there wasn't a lot of stuff before, but I just seen "it's basically finished" a couple times here which didn't really seem to be the case
