Sad, but true. On a good note CPE is good even at such state, plus we have shit load of games to play anyway.

I think it's a custom engine since it's in the Others category but I may be wrong.
Since I joined this forum for Operation Lovecraft I literally finished university, got a job, and then got a new job, all before Operation Lovecraft made any meaningful progress in developing the story and gameplay lol...Wtf, it's still on going? can i ask how many enemies this game has and if this is a grinding game not a typical side scrolling 1hr game?

not a 1 hr game because of grinding, but because of navigating and story. Its a metroidvania so its meant to be explored and have places to return to once you unlock new abilities.
Theres no level system, you just find cool equipment. The base stuff will get stronger with you, in case you dont want to explore or return to spots. Enemy variety is really good, really sexy, but I cant remember the exact number.
Haven't played this game in a while. Booted up new version on old save to try to check out the new stuff. Have no idea where I'm supposed to go. Should I just restart?
as pervygoddess mentioned, it's a metroidvania. it does that quite well. the work is progressing slowly, but it's already a fantastic game worth playing. It's already better than most H-games on the site.
as for enemies, we have the scientist, shield-girl, soldier, bee-thing, slime, burrowing tentacles, sea-dragon, octopus-thing, weird-alien-esk thing, muscle-bro, plant-girl, and 6? bosses. I'm probably forgetting something, but they all have unique H-animations.

some of it got rewritten, but currently no progress beyond what was already currently there, though i imagine that's what's coming in the next update or two
Story got an upgrade, but no progress. (New Intro, new scene for the 1rst boss attacking the base)
Old save will work as the map didn't change either.
The hover-boots got changed and works completely differently. It now gives a sprint and a double jump instead.
