I don't believe so, the itch.io store only has a demo available for free; even the $4 bronze tier patrons have to wait a full month to get the newest version.

As far as I can tell, I can't make any progress through any other quests until I move forward with this one. Unless I just need to wait around for days until something happens or I missed something.

If I can assume you were stuck at the same place I was, the bum outside your apartment in the afternoon has the ring I think, you need to talk to him.

You get an quest for fishing - than you get 140-160 coins or savegameeditor and sleep 1 night
