So they take the original game use AI Art to steal the original artist make an excuse saying "they're reviving an abandoned game" I mean if they wanted to continue the project ok by me, but they should at least try to get permission from the original author, Like Silver Games did with Witch trainer by Akabur they contected Akabur and asked to continue his project. But this is just stealing the name, stealing the Art.
So what is this, some dude fed up with the perpetual blue ball of the original and speed running posting actual sex of the character or...

Well I think ppl there paying his patreon could just stop if they thought that the dev were scamming them or some shi (that was what I did early on btw), but they continued their support... So saying that this was a scam is a bit... And even so stealing something, the name, the art and stuff, is still something wrong that idk maybe the dev could even sue him.

i completely understand what you mean. scam isnt the perfect word for it and theres probably still some mfs still subscribed to him rn as we type but all in all you gotta admit. he did his fans and supporters wrong
Your example doesn't describe abandonment. In many jurisdictions there are often are legal routes to claim actually abandoned property from. For example bonded titles for cars or adverse possession laws for homes and properties. There's actual defined criteria that goes well beyond someone simply going on vacation.
Besides that. Who fucking cares? This is a piracy forum. So we're fine with pirating games but we aren't fine with developers pirating content? You realize daz assets are bought and paid for right? Are you going to get this bothered if a dev pirates their daz assets? It's the same thing.
