Custom Windows Icons for several games

I don't like drab folders with generic thumbnails. Add that to how much a customization junkie I am, et voila... Hours on Photoshop later I produced a few icons for my win 10 folders (I'm sure they work on win 7 or 8 too), all for games acquired here.

The process is simple and pretty much anyone with PS can probably do better, but many games don't really have their artwork or official titles/logos available to just grab a png file with clean lovely transparency to join them and be done with it. Sometimes cleaning or outright remaking stuff with the original fonts and quality takes me much more time than many would consider worth the trouble, especially the more obscure games. Whatever, I enjoy it. Hopefully these will tickle the fancy of many a lazy appreciative fellow perv.

The goal is having an icon for each of my games, all in the same matching style and quality. MANY more on the way as I complete them IF people are interested; if not, I'll simply finish making them for myself.

If these actually are something you want, I don't mind taking a request or two for games I don't even have, or share the templates, I don't know. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Now... I'm pretty sure I can legally make a carnival privately with resources I don't own as long as I don't republish or profit from them, but I know next to nothing about how much I'm allowed to share here since many of these images and names are copyrighted. I'd appreciate it if a Mod enlightened me in that regard, just PLEASE don't ban me or something without warning... I love it here and my heart would shatter (at least until I change my IP and return cleverly renamed as plupplefuss) Just let me know if I should take them down and I immediately will. I might sound paranoid, but I'm just being respectful.

The background behind every logo seems the same, I mean shouldn't every game's logo be a bit different ?

Oh, I thought this hadn't sparked any interest. In a few minutes I'll update with a new link and More Icons.

Done. Oh, and the background being the same is intentional, I wanted a consistent style for the containing folder. A unique BG for each icon would look like a chaos salad, but I get the appeal. To each their own.

I'll check those games out when I get a moment. As for tools, I kind of forgot which one I used to convert to ico from png, but there are tons of those around, freeware too. The tricky part is making the PNGs, there's not much to teach, it's a matter of how much creative output you're willing to give it and basic photoshop knowledge. I'll see if I can dig up the template from my old PC.
