Ren'Py - Abandoned - Cutely Suspicious [v0.12.033] [Ellaraia]

The Good: (do not just read this section and then download the game - you really need to read "the bad" section too)

• Excellent renders with a variety of body shapes
• Slow burn (yes, this is a good thing, IMO) with relatively (pun intended) realistic relationships
• The characters have personalities and their thoughts are not always on their genitals

In short, this game has just about everything that I could possibly ask for in a game. It ticks nearly every single box that I look for in a game. So why would I rate something so stellar only 2 stars? Well....

The Bad:

• There is no storyline. Seriously it gets no more complicated than "you have sisters."
• Notice how I only mentioned the sisters in the above point? Yeah. The mom does not exist in this game. Nor do your friends. Both of your sisters have a best friend, but only one of them exists in this game. Everyone else you meet is literally a part of the background. There is no interaction with them at all.
• And here's the bad one, the one that dooms the game and honestly warrants it only getting 1 star but I gave it 2 because I'm generous... There is NO content. None. The game is a slow burn that got abandoned before any payoff. You never get the opportunity to touch anyone, to flash anyone, to be flashed, or even to just kiss. The closest thing this game gets to content is watching that one aforementioned friend of your sister blow a complete stranger and that scene comes pretty far into the game.

The graphic looks good, but there still some bugs. Anyway, the story is quite great, looking foward to future updates, hope this game have some updates soon because i have waited for too long for the new updates.

Love the story, it has been moving up and down quite a bit over time. The current one is pretty nice. Would be nice if you can have some more clear influence on the story line (e.g. the dom / lov sub path for Dani, the pet / love path for Sarah). Would be interesting to do something with the friends too, even with the mom, even though she is an ugle old bitch. Love the grinding of the game, but would like some more grip on the story.

Nothing interesting in running around for nothing.
Good graphics, good interactions, common playability, I like certain situations, but really frustrating in the end. A lost opportunity.
Not worth playing it any more in my opinion.

This is the second time I had to restart this game from scratch because old save games are no longer compatible. I don't have time or patience to grind through the whole came game every time an update is released, especially when the game isn't that fun to play due to lack of content. Not only that, but the amount of content was again reduced with the new update.

The developer doesn't seem to have a plan and is instead spending resources on "turd polishing". I deleted this game and don't intend to look at it again until it has a 'completed' tag.

Pro's:
Characters are adequately proportioned. No one is overly large in the chests or crotch.
"Free Roam" is fairly easy to navigate.
Con's:
The characters calling the mom by the first name all the time. I hate this.
The fact that there is no way to know exactly what to do and when. You just fumble around until something happens.
Personally wish there was a walkthrough mod or something to help out.
Also, why have the mom in area's if you can't interact with her at all? I get she's watching what's going on, but why have her taking up space in the free roam area if you can't talk to her? Makes little sense to me.

The constant reworking is annoying, its fishing for money with little results. Having to restart the game every time is redonkulous. Only positive is the girls are somewhat cute. But the constant having to replay through burns you out. Not worth the download IMO.

Review:
There are a lot of negative things in this game, things that will irritate you. The first one is that the content of the download size is large (2.5gb)
and have nothing more and nothing less to make you have to grind,
the second is not to contain enough content and enjoy a porn game. There have already been some updates but the character still continues to do the same thing and the overall content is monotome and boring.

History:
If it’s to analyze, the script seems a little confusing to understand, in general, it doesn’t seem to be that incest game where you’re going to fuck the sisters besides MC's mother, the story, it's annoying to follow, but speaking of that, the game has the proposal of flirting the girls without the mother suspecting it, but it turns out to be boring, since the character is not interactable. I have no idea what is going to come.
Gameplay:
Repetitive sandbox and waste of time. I would never have imagined that sandbox games would become extremely boring because they are poorly configured. The interface of these games, ok, but the mechanics are quite meaningless. I will try to explain a short, the only thing that serves on the status bar is horniness already the suspicion bar I saw no need for that, it is useless or causes the player to waste more of his time. The suspicion bar fills up when the mother suspects something from the MC under the sisters, so, in theory, we should interact with the sisters when the mother is not around? If so, the game is broken or there are some more hidden scenes (which I doubt it is) because I completed the content and I say, is that it? not worth it.
Graphics & Sexual Content:
Let's say that the best thing about this game is the graphics, because the gameplay is painful (blueballs). The girls' renderings are very good, the mother's model too, not too old but not too young. But if we are going to talk about sexual content, it doesn't have it. What there is teasing, voyeurism, masturbation and a graceless HJ. The animations are not good as well as the angles of the scenes as well that are average.

Why I did gave 1 star?
Unfortunately it is a poorly planned game (status bar, hints), because there are great renders of the female character models, but with a boring sandbox gameplay to play. But the biggest problem with this is that the game size is too big for very little content, because I’ve seen games with much smaller sizes and hung content. It is logical that these games have much lower graphic quality (bad, average), but when it comes to Cutely Suspicious, if you remove the grind and sandbox it will end very quickly and without taking advantage of anything. A function was implemented in the game for the MC to buy outfits to photograph his sisters with them, my god, what a boring thing. I hope it improves and succeeds, but in the meantime, it is a game that you will stay in teasing, voyeurism and reach the end of the content and receive a thank you for playing, that was the last complete version.

The renders are ok, nothing special. The gameplay itself is very repetitive and scenes are inconsistent. The story...well theres really not that much of a story there. I kept having random errors occur also.

I do however, like the layout of the UI. Its nice but definately needs improvement. I.e. The navigation bar on the bottom left is annoying that every time you enter a room its changes the layout of the rooms so you end up having to enter different rooms before going into the one you wanted to. (tip: Dev, just list all the rooms and highlight the one the MC is in)

Its also wierd that you can only spy on some people in the bathroom....maybe it will be fixed in future patches.

Cute premise for a story, execution is not that great though with a lot of
yada yada inbetween scenes cause of the endless repetition and grind for "lust" and money.

Images are so-so with deadpanned characters.

Writing is what it is and gets the job done.

I will not return to this game which by the way is not a VN imo.

The game looks good, story has already been invented, nothing new, but i like the girls and that combo works for me, creates expectations.

The game manages to keep expectations and reality almost balanced, still in my opinion creates more expectations than what delivers.

Why expectations? Cause the game looks good, and promises a lot of events and you can tell there is some character development that seems to make sense.

Eventually you find that you have almost finished all the content available and you have been grinding like a MoFo to barely get to touch a tit.

So, there are things, and you can sort of see the potential, but as 006008 is not worth playing it cause it is dissapointing, specially if, like me, enjoy aspects of it.

The game has great graphics, the character Sarah is both charming and cute, the author builds each character's character miraculously in accordance with the appearance, worthy of 10 stars in the era of trash game spread on the online community. hey, I think calling this game a gem in the Vietnamese game industry is not too exaggerating

I really like the idea of the game but it feels like a grind fest, going round and round doing the same shit, and what's with not being able to do anything with Mom? shame really, has the making to be a good game.

Great, slow development of the relationships between the characters. This way the game remains interesting. Yesterday I surely played about four hours and today I hope to play a few more hours. It's addictive, that's excellent.

Many erotic games rely only on sex after a while. With a real flood of sex the plot is washed away.

This is not the case here. Step by step the story develops. And the mood of the characters fluctuates.

I also think it's good that the path is pre-determined. So you experience everything at the first playthrough.

Sure, it can be interesting if you can play through a game in different ways. But many developers overdo it. Then the players mostly skip at the second, third etc. playthrough, instead of playing.

PS: I play with the incest patch/mod. The forbidden fruit always tasted best. As Adam and Eve already knew.

This game is good mix between griding and progressing. You try finding some objectives not grinding tones of stats etc. powers, agilities... here is only lust which you can up fast in few interactions. Story is not shine and not bad. But is better and i think its go to 10 percent top games on F95

Please first try game then read reviews... becouse players have many opinions on games.. in one time no sex on fisrt update what is biggest duno idea, then too much grind. First you must realised people are haters, some are lazy and whant all without work

This game looked interesting, but it ended up being an uninstall for me.

There is little to no story to make the grinding remotely worthwhile. The characters are bland and uninteresting, and the two "young women" look so much alike it's easy to confuse them. The interface/UI is functional but not very useful or friendly.

Plot:

Although you can thing that this is the classic game about grinding for hours for just a couple of sex scenes at the end, i find this game develops the story very well.
Seems like we are going to have differents approaching to the girls and slow burning relationship, no like lot of games lately where the innocent and virgin girl suddenly realises she is a slut and became fucking everyone around.


Renders and animations:

It´s sad there isn´t animations, but renders are quite good with lot of details (Sarah´s freckles ).


Characters:

There´s just three of them and only 2 to have fun with, but are well built and developed so no need for more.


Gameplay:

I like the way the game is guiding you through the story and got really impressed by the fact same situations have several amount of overcomes and dialogues so even if the characters have some routines (that changes slightly after some events), you can experiment them on different ways.
The best of course is how the relationship with the girls is developing slowly, each one differently due to how opposite the girls are.

Conclusion:

Well, i think this game has a great potential.
If it keeps this way all it will became one of my favourites.
I would like it to have animations even if they are short (who knows if in the future....) and the optional sharing path not just with main characters (maybe a threesome with Dani at a party or tricking Sarah into having sex with another one in order to become more open) but if the story keeps the way it is , it will be great anyways.

Version 0.02

This game is off to an excellent start: renders & girls are gorgeous, and the overall story, sandbox setup and the game mechanics are very promising. The horniness indicator of MC and the girls (and the consequent cool down) makes the story way more realistic. I like the idea of pursuing / corrupting the girls under the watchful eyes of a landlady, and am eager to see where the story will lead us. The Dev has written quite a lot on his Patreon page about how his game will play out, that's why I feel I am able to review it already. Because obviously, at this early stage in the game, any review is more an estimation than a review based a couple of hours of actual gameplay, so I will surely revisit this review later and may change it.

At this early point in time, it lacks story and dialogues and lewd scenes but it is definitely on the right track..

Cons:
Stupid story with insta sluts
Girls have no personality, just want to fuck you for no reason
Another porn game just to fap

I really still don't know why these type of games still exists.
