so what's the deal with DRM?
The main problem is, PlayDRM, which DLSite uses, authenticates on-line via servers so your PC/Account specifically runs it. Any others will NOT work unless the same code can be used (which is something even I am not sure of) so right now, trying to bypass it means capturing some sort of "true" 16 digit code that everytime the check/log-in comes up, it directly hooks into that code and does NOT verify to the server. Which is pretty hard, and unlike other digital code requirements/checks that are off-line, they are easier to bypass since its usually some kind of algorithm or encryption than can be mimicked

Anti piracy software. Meant to make it so only people who have purchased the software legitimately can access the game. It is a controversial topic since DRM can cause lag and malfunctions to the product even to those who purchased it legitimately. Though I will say based on my own experience that these claims are often greatly exaggerated by the pro piracy crowd.

I know that for triple A games, DRM is often so hard to crack that it can take long time for a game to become available for for others online despite being huge targets. I don't know if DRM for small indie games like this has the same level of protection.

So I found out that key codes from those who bought the game DO work more than once, but up to how many, I am not sure. Although I read somewhere that it may possibly work up to 5 times on 5 different devices. Do not even ask, I have promised the buyer that the code will only be used on my "copy" obtained elsewhere, and that I will not be sharing it online. Now my objective is to possibly remove the DRM entirely instead of trying to bypass it, simply because it will be impossible to capture "real" codes from the server when its just a confirmation/callback from the host PC/client to an authentication server.

Did you buy it? if that's the case you should have a 16 digit code to unlock the game mabe with that we can do something

There's a cracking thread where playdrm is regularly cracked and we've had randomo saints do drive-by cracks, point being this is not a new DRM nor an especially good one it seems. We just need to wait for someone who knows how already to crack it.

Probably best not to kill yourself reinventing the wheel.

I do NOT have any fucking idea what the hell I am doing, or if it even works or not. I Could upload the game files but at the end of the day, it might still be the same files the other guy uploaded and WILL ask for a key. I do however found something pointing to PlayDRM in the registry and its in my AppData/Roaming too so I decided to export the registry subfile and whoever still has not unlocked the game can try using the subreg and see if it works since it DOES contain a key of sorts, but not something that can be entered to the log-in screen. I would test this myself, if I had another OS instance (probably in a VM) to test it out.

So try getting the game files first from the other guy, then try this subreg and confirm it by checking your AppData/Roaming/PlayDRM.
this registry didn't work

I thought for sure I played this uncensored.. did I imagine it? Or did someone make a mod?
No, the original game is uncensored, but because it's being sold on DLsite, it has to comply with Japanese law, which requires censorship.

Okay but it says this version is censored in the page 1 post.. why would a pirate site use the censored version if there was an uncen'd one somewhere?

Ok so I deleted that registry message. Although I have tried back-tracking and got PlayDRM to trip again by deleting the PlayDRM folder in my AppData/Roaming+Registry, and I just imported the registry again and it worked without having to enter a key. From reading from other threads it seems just the key may work, BUT, you also need the corresponding hardware ID since it is based upon hardware IDs and online server-side authentication.

I will compress my game files from which I downloaded from here as well, but with the same Hardware ID I have used to test, and then upload the registry files again.

Since I cannot test this myself and people are willing to try just to get around the DRM, Please try to follow what I say so we would know where to go next if things do not work out

Download both the game files and registry, Unpack game files, launch the game 1 time to trip DRM DO NOT LAUNCH THE GAME FIRST BEFORE IMPORT!!!, import/install registry, check your AppData/Roaming for a folder called "PlayDRM" or go to regedit, >edit>Find (or CTRL+F) and look for "PlayDRM" if both or just 1 does appear, try launching the game.

Use only MY files
since I am not sure if the Hardware ID changes for every instance or unload of the file and tripping the DRM on a failed launch/needing to register launch.

CYANBRAIN Main Files
PlayDRM Registry Import

Not sure if its an issue on my end, or with the registry file, but i cannot import it. i get an "Error while accessing the registry" (loosely translated, might be worded differently in english)

But this is a register for your user, for example, mine has a different ID and I can’t import. Doing the same thing under my ID does not give results

The registry path in the file doesn't match yours. You need to manually edit the path in the file copying what you can find in regedit. It doesn't work anyway.

changing the "USERS" part in the file to "CURRENT_USER" made it register, but yeah, it doesnt work for bypassing DRM.
