Thanks for the response. As I mentioned, other people have also noticed it. I deleted the game and all folders, but if I recall correctly, there was a folder inside the DLOMC appdata folder called "default" that creates a bunch of files that look like something you'd expect from a browser. They're called like, "history" and other things. I checked on a different website and it was noted that RPGM is built like a web browser so uses it as a base or something. It created the files last year on a previous PC and again on this PC so I'm not really worried, I just wanted the technical explanation for the files. I 99.9% think it isn't a virus, and am not posting this to scare anyone, either - I just want to know what the SQL stuff actually means when you open those files and inspect them. What you described has only the following possibilities:
1. you are making a joke to scare people into thinking there is a virus in this game.
2. you have a virus and is trying to steal your passwords and credit card info. shut it down.
3. (extremely unlikely) DLOMC is NOT an acronym for this game's name but is instead an internet browser I never heard or a password manager I never heard of. And you gave it your passwords and CC info to store. and it is crap at its job, storing your passwords and CC info in plain text in appdata folder instead of in an encrypted file.
I am leaning towards option 2.
I might investigate it later if I have the time.
All rpgmmv games have that stuff, because it's build on nwjs. Thanks for the response. As I mentioned, other people have also noticed it. Edit: The post after mine also quoted other people that have had the same issue and brought it up. I assume nobody has brought it up previously because nobody cares enough to actually open the files/knows there's nothing sinister happening.
So all of these files are completely normal/fine/don't steal data? Even though they reference web browsers, history, credit cards, random stuff like that when you open them in notepad etc and read them? I guess they're just default files that would be used in SQLlite databases that don't actually do anything/steal your data? (Sorry I'm not clued up on anything to do with njsw or sqllite etc)All rpgmmv games have that stuff, because it's build on nwjs.
Yeah, it's completely normal. All that crap is created by webkit. So all of these files are completely normal/fine/don't steal data? That's an enormous reliefYeah, it's completely normal. All that crap is created by webkit.
I suppose you might be able to find out onThat's an enormous reliefThank you. Is there somewhere I can read about the files it creates that you know of? I've never heard of webkit.

wait, did they actually HAVE any of YOUR passwords and credit card info in those files. So all of these files are completely normal/fine/don't steal data? No, It is not recommended to play this game on joiplayAm playing this game in joiplay emulator and when I tried to use in game phone I can't tap/click anything on it is there anyway to fix it?
Upon reading my initial message, I understand the confusion and profusely apologise for it- It doesn't have any of my data nor could I find any of it, but my concern was that the files, when opened (continued in edit)All RPGMMV have a browser folder.
but that browser folder should not have his passwords and credit card info
wait, did they actually HAVE any of YOUR passwords and credit card info in those files.
or did it just have a file CALLED passwords that was completely empty or contained none of your passwords?
if they just had an empty file, it is because the web browser that comes bundled with the game creates those because it is a web browser and has no idea that it is being used to run a game that was designed to run on a browser.
if they had files with actual content that was YOUR private data, then it stole it.
From what you originally posted it sounded like you said that you found YOUR OWN passwords in it.
