for anyone who is mad about the upcoming gay content that is getting added to the next update, for 1. stop complaining its optional content, for 2. there is barely ever probable going to be gay scenes to updates, like once maybe ever like 4-5 updates so atleast a year or 2 between new gay scenes, so shut up and stop bitching
lol. lmao even.
top tier projection right there

It is genuinely good advice.
Not really. I mean, I can agree from a design standpoint, but it's extremely clear by now that catering to specific fetishes is where the money is.

You just don't like the fetishes in question. Don't try to paint yourself as some selfless messiah of porn devs.

That is straight up false, considering the games with highest earnings are games like BaDik and Summetime Saga, which feature barely any fringe fetish at all. Fetishes work for some devs who manage to find a smaller, but more passionate audience. There is no guaranteed winning formula. But from a PR perspective, adding a bunch of fringe kinks late into development rarely tends to work.

Checked the changelog and the recent discussions and these devs are doing the same shit every other devs do, the MILF, double cheeked up fertility goddess (Daisy) introduced at the beginning to lure people in isn't getting any scenes to milk this shit as long as possible

1. By and large the highest earning games are focused on specific target audience instead of trying to appeal to literally everyone.
2. I have never seen a case where changing the target audience of the game years into development suddenly brought in a bunch of money.
3. I have seen multiple cases where it literally killed the project. As supporters cancelled their pledges so dev had to cut hours which delayed releases which caused more cancellations which spiraled into a dead project

Which this one is? I don't even understand what you thought you were replying to instead.
A passionate audience about the specific fetish the game is based around, not an umbrella of every fetish. I personally don't even like loli, but its clear that the game has catered to that demographic from the start, and most of the playerbase likes it. That would be the specific fetish for this game.

The vast majority of the current audience is not playing it for gay content, and a couple of scenes is unlikely to change that. So either this has been a big waste of time, or we'll keep getting more and more gay content in an attempt to effectively capture a bissexual audience, which only means less content and/or more delays for exclusively heterossexual content players.

I would love for you to try to create a game and add a bunch of content more then most creators do in the first place and get done in a decent time frame with good quality, your just impatient and it shows you obviously don't know how hard it is to create content as a artist then animate and code all by yourself it takes time

If you think you could put out good content and the same amount of content that gets added per update that is well animated well designed and do the coding all by yourself then be my guest
our opinions arent invalidated just because most of us dont know how to make games. it's like watching usain bolt run at the speed of an average genshin impact player, ofc we can criticise that and say he could do better especially since this is what he's meant to be a pro at. it's an overexaggerated example, mald however much you want but we can give valid criticism even if we're not professionals at said thing. that's the point.

and right now with the amount of experience and support he has we can confidently say as a developer he's falling short, especially when the content we got wasnt even effective: it was made for a minority of the playerbase. all in all, if you think a RPGM game realistically cant deliver quality content more effectively than this then that's just delusional.

The game is 4 years 8 months old.
This is far too late to make major pivots like changing the target demographic from heterosexuals to bisexuals.
According to who or what exactly? Devs can do whatever they want to do. It is their game. I also find you gay panic dudes to be so cringe. Devs will add every fetish under the sun randomly and you don't say a word. The minute a gay scene is added you freak the fuck out. It's actually incredible how insecure some of you are. Fyi, many women look at your gay aversion as a sign that you are too insecure to take seriously.

Third, despite the ridiculous strawmans constantly being made here like "iT wOnT mAkE yOu GaY bRo", the real issue is, and always has been the fact that other characters are being put on hold because of content that only a very small subset of the playerbase will enjoy. An optional scene takes as much time to make as any other, and people would rather either have more scenes that they can enjoy, or have the updates come out faster. It's not a hard concept to grasp. People are entitled to their opinions even if they are negative.
A) No it isn't a lot of expended time. It is a few scenes in a big update with a lot of content. Hardly a dip in development time worth mentioning at all.
B) A small subset of the player base? How the fuck do you know that? There are a lot of gay and bi people in the world. If milda gets even a 10% bump in player base it literally is worth it.

A passionate audience about the specific fetish the game is based around, not an umbrella of every fetish. I personally don't even like loli, but its clear that the game has catered to that demographic from the start, and most of the playerbase likes it. That would be the specific fetish for this game.
You keep trying to define someones creation by your own standards. A game can be whatever he wants it to be. Clearly his crowd funding is only growing in size. And I'm sort of picking up here that you define 'gay content' as a fetish. Which really, is a nonstarter to begin with. I mean gay people aren't that small of a population and a rather large percentage of them use pornography regularly.

The vast majority of the current audience is not playing it for gay content,
Again, defining things you have no basis to speak on. You literally have no idea if the majority of people are on board with it. You are just extrapolating your beliefs and intuitions onto other people like it is some ordained fact.

and a couple of scenes is unlikely to change that.
Again, no basis for your statements. If it does do just that, you are going to look pretty foolish here. I haven't seen any drop in Milda's crowd sourcing. He doesn't seem to be losing anything here by doing this.

So either this has been a big waste of time, or we'll keep getting more and more gay content in an attempt to effectively capture a bissexual audience, which only means less content and/or more delays for exclusively heterossexual content players.
Jesus. This is such a reactionary comment. Not big gay! The horror! Everything is going to go up in flame cause the gays!
