Honestly, I hope this engine choice pays off later, because even trying to play it is proving to be a bad experience.

i like where the game is going with the art and story, but man the optimization is not there, can't wait for a new update to come out though.

November Release Delayed!!
Hey everyone, so sorry for the delay on this week! We knew about the change maybe at least a week ago, so I should’ve been able to put out something like this. You guys know me by now, really bad about the quick to the point posts I can just churn out fast. It’s just a little bit difficult with my laptop time rarely possible these days, but I should be able to at least put out this post on the main pages using my phone at least.
Again, the delay on this announcement is my fault alone, so I do apologize.
That being said, we just want to announce that the next update has been delayed by about three weeks. You should see it coming out on December 20, which is a Saturday. This will also likely throw off the upcoming real estate that we also previously announced for January and March. Probably by a month respectively as well, just to reset the schedule.
You should see the continuation of the prologue in this upcoming update, but just as a reminder, there won’t really be any explicit material as of yet, that’s not where we are at in the story at the moment. The likely February update should be a conclusion of the story of the prologue and we can then move on from there to open up the games for some more fun, exclusive content. It’s all still shaping up, we can’t wait to share more!
Just wanted to put that out there, ask me any questions in the #ask_a_dev channel, I always like doing that, helps me share cool stuff and ideas we have.

Thanks for the update, think I'll have to let this cook for a year and come back to it. Everything is looking great so far, can't wait to see how far and what will be done.

We're heading into 2026 and developers still dare not to use Ren'py to create their games...*sighs*
I hope the justification for using Godot over Ren'py holds true in the end, because people will ignore your project just because it's not developed in Ren'py... trust me, there are people like that...

Between people juggling the holiday season already slowing down the work, (which was to be expected), one of our staff members has been dealing with a medical emergency for a close family member.
Given we are a small team, this has pretty much made hitting the release date impossible.
We can't apologize enough, but we hope the updates when we arrive will make up for the delay now. To avoid risking raising and dashing hopes again like this, we're no longer publicly going to announce release dates until we're sure we're ready.
More posts are to come soon. Once again, we're disappointed we haven't managed to get this out in time, and will be getting it out to you all as soon as possible.

Just wanted to leave my feedback to this game. It is lore accurate and I like the design and art style. Looks good so far, looked promising in the beginning, but it alle depends on how much content comes with each update. Can't see this team bringing constant updates that are worth my time. That's why I would never spent any bucks on this game. The choice to make this game in Godot instead of renpy is anoother reason. Cant say I like the engine for this matter but so far, this choice hasn't paid off and it is rather annoying, to open the game. The other reason is that the developers promised frequent updates, and as usual and like any other dev, they cannot keep their promises. Delays with the initial release of the game, and now another delay. I will spent my dollars on another subscription and will come back, if I see that the promises are being kept. Until then, I would strongly recommend not spent any money on this game.

Felt like putting this thought out there amid the wait you guys are dealing with, and kinda day I think Maddie Jazz and Dani are gonna be the for sure locked in “core three” members of the game that probably get a good deal of content but drawn out a bit long form. They should be slow burns after all. And idk if anybody else gets added to that list that isn’t also familial OCs at that point.

Sam will be a strong character and have plenty of content, but yeah, I’d say there should be no canon relationships in general, and the romance of each school girl/ghost should stand on its own and not get dragged out, I don’t think. There’s less taboo around them anyway.
