A bit too much shaking all over. It makes it harder to read when the words shake and it made it hard to really see the art when Tucker got chased by the T-Rex. In the kitchen after the Birthday CG Maddies hair outline struggles a bit with the Background. The expressions could need a bit more work. The whole Family Looks empty inside. Something about the eyes sadly I don't know what exactly could be done, but I would suggest to take another look at them. Expressions do so much during dialogue. Sam's expressions during her locker room CG's on the other Hand are great and so much fun. It makes her so much more Lively and hot. Danny after that doesn't even blush or Looks embarrassed or stunned in a good way.

I, of Course, didn't expect much of an first release, but that was surprisingly short. The art is amazing, besides the lack of expressions. Writing is okay, too early to say, but I was positive surprised that we didn't get detention and there was a bit of Character development going on between the series and your game. I suggest deleting the line of the planned first release. So much time later for so little content doesn't build confidence. So maybe you want to keep that a bit more hidden, but it's very honest atm which is nice.

Man, the game keeps crashing just by trying to talk to Jazz. I'll wait for the next couple of updates and see if it is a bit more stable. That is, assuming that it isn't my pc.

So it's understandable that it's a pre-alpha-meta version of the game but it's not really convenient to read. Some CG's from the first game are like a bit greyish to my mind. Also it'd be nice to have an option to skip or at least read faster, for example some games allow you to read dialogues using mouse scrolling. The art is nice though some sprites are obviously still being worked on like Maddy's sprite because it has properly drawn body and poorly drawn head
Wish you luck

Will they translate the game into Spanish? Because since it's not made in Renpy, I think it's hard for anyone to translate it.
Our hope is to absolutely do that, yeah, as we will be self implementing our own “streamer safe” mode for players which will require alternate dialogue.

I’ll ask Epadder if Godot should make it any more difficult to allow for translations than Ren’Py and we’ll see what he says tomorrow!

It would be fantastic, since gzone forgot about the Hispanics, because many Hispanic AP fans are going to be interested in this game, I found out because I was looking for who would do the new AP art.

Played through the first release, which turned out to be way shorter than I expected. Like, actually very little.

Given Morah's behavior in the thread though, I'm more than happy to presume 90% of the work was back-end (this is backed up by there already apparently being dozens of (unused in the first release) character sprites, all of which are high quality and most of which are well-animated if the previews are anything to go by.

Things I noticed during the playthrough:
-Depressed Danny is definitely an interesting way to handle things. I wonder what's been holding the rogues gallery back for three years? It makes sense for him, since Danny in the show is shown to be so driven by his sense of heroism - I can fully believe Danny would get depressed after years of no events at all
-I unironically had accepted Star's surname to be "Astray" so her being a Spears here threw me off, lol. You're contractually obligated to name her mom Brittany though.
-The art is just excessively high quality. It honestly looks so good the game doesn't even look like a sequel or spinoff made by the actual original writers, like I could not see Nickelodeon putting out a Danny Phantom game this high quality, nudie images or not.
-Characterization is entirely on point, particularly Danny and Tucker. You really nailed those two. Star is definitely her Season 2 and 3 self, but that's hardly a bad thing considering that's the best version of Star.
-I feel bad for Jack, who's about to get horrendously cucked.
-I feel bad for the rest of the world, who has to get their understanding of ghosts through Jack Fenton.
-Very good set-up for the necessary changes to both bring back the rogues gallery in a way amenable to a harem smut game, and put Danny in a position to just sleep around (which Danny would not probably do the way he was in the show)
-Danny has a habit of walking in on girls in the nude, eh?
-Speaking of... Are the images censored in the public version? I think I saw some nipple, but I don't remember seeing any pussy. Even on Sam, who was naked and facing forward (her thigh kinda obscured it, plus it spent it's life behind the text box)

One of the things I noticed is that the neighborhood of Amity Park has become very suburban, where Amity Park in the show is definitely an urban town. Instead of a bunch of multi-story brick buildings with tight alleyways, it's now spread out and everyone has a lawn... Which doesn't really fit? I mean, it's not supposed to be New York City, but I don't think we see any lawns in the show outside of mansions that are clearly outside the city. Even Sam's house doesn't have a proper lawn, and she's apparently quite rich.

I could see some changes over three years, but probably not this much. I hope it's placeholder art.

Yeah, we do apologize about the delays, and I think it’s a mix of our one primary artist being non full time, and he takes his time with his stuff. We’re already more than halfway there to getting him comfortably full-time as well as the rest of of getting at least a reasonable “good thing we *care* about this project” paycheck though, so things are looking up. The other half is me not being full time and not always having the time to do what I take care in doing which is rewriting and filling out dialogue sections from LR. We’ll have that all finished up soon, as well as having a creative meeting to properly hit all the notes we wanna hit when it comes to the following big story updates.

I’d say we’re about a third of the way through all the material before the title drop even happens in the game yet, and that’s just… it sucks. We might have delayed further to get animations in order with our new animator and some additional facial expressions done, but we’d delayed it enough. We were definitely stalling out in terms of people knowing or caring about this, so we felt debuting a launch update demo was the best thing we could do for the development. And thus far, it has been!

If I were to say any other element that may have slowed development it’s been Epadder figuring out Godot. It’s definitely the best engine we wanted to work with to achieve our goals of what DD will become, but it’s still a learning process.

Thanks again for everybody’s great patience, seriously.

Eh, quality takes time. As long as progress continues, I'll be happy. No worries mate, you're good.

Background stuff is in need of major work, map stuff is the wuintesstinal “we just built this shit, it’s not final. I’m working to figure out why my Zephyr models only create half of the image most of the time, but one time somehow I was able to capture a completed model of a trash can I had used in Amity Park completely fine, but any of my other 3D models I’ve made in dreams the past 6 years only capture one side of the image. When that stuff gets figured out, and I finish my “map” of Amity Park, we’ll be in much better standing, cause then we can start actually developing proper street ways and more appropriately designated block's that are more urban.

Also, the shower stuff is due to a thing we’re doing with the story, so there are nude models of the girls in the shower, but they’re covered in foam and soap… maybe if Danny learns to buy a different soap brand, things might just start to become more clear…

Sam along with with most of the early nudity/lewd material, we ultimately wanted to start with small and gradual, especially with Jazz & Maddie. We want it to feel natural and gradual, where you might believe a mom might actually reasonably become seduced by and begin seducing her son. So it’s, for lack of a better phrase, baby steps.

Glad you liked what you liked!! Very promising and encouraging responses to the actual content thus far.

really dude

I'm not a guy who scans the image to the pixel but it looks unfinished compared to amity park's sprites
I mean… I know it doesn’t have the right model in use right now with the proper eye glint along with the proper shadows in place… is that what you mean?
