Our plan, which has just been updated as of yesterday, is to update the game every two months. I was initially kind of speaking out of my ass as the guy who doesn’t do any of the coding, and saying we could get an update out every month. Even if it was small, I figured that would be a fine precedent to set, because then we’d get exposure every month. So i how often do you guys plan to update this one? Do you got a planned schedule or something or are you guys just whenever?
But thanks to feedback from the fans, who said they would be fine with waiting an extra month to get more content and more polish, as well as our coder Epadder, stating that an update a month would kind of stretch him thin, considering his other projects as well as the time needed to properly play test, bugfix, and properly create the builds, we decided on a two month release schedule. (I know, I know, run on sentence.)
Now the new plan, that we just decided upon yesterday… or maybe it was today I don’t remember… was to move the proposed July 11th build, which would’ve led into a September 12th build in two months, back a bit, to the 25th of July. Cause all the bug fixing and optimization that Epadder has had to do since we finally got it into the hands of players has held up his ability to actually produce any new content and build any new scenes. So he just wanted some additional time to get that stuff done. So officially, and this will be announced today on my lunch break or something on the subscribe star, the next two content builds will be July 25th and September 26th, both Fridays.
And that then would help set the precedent going forward, every two months, barring any particular issue.
