As a rule, most mods don't work unless they match the games version. In the past, that has been the rule for this game. So I don't know why this time would be any different.

I tried the Mod with version v0.18.0, it works very smoothly.
Also, I really feel sorry for the Mod creator when I see him constantly being pushed around by people.
Perhaps the Mod creator should add this text to the Mod's features section: "This Mod will be compatible with future versions" to avoid causing themselves too much discomfort...

Just this. Some mod devs do this, so it shouldn't really be difficult. No more crying around on both sides, wonderful.
"This Mod will be compatible with future versions" -> "This Mod MAY be compatible with future versions, check before requesting update".
Otherwise it will be troll farm "you lied...." at some point
