Ren'Py - Completed - Darkness Falls [v1.1] [Tora Productions]

This one could be one of my favs and the most hidden gem out of them all, but…

Pros:
1) Very good setting.
2) Very good plot.
3) Very good characters.
4) The visuals are a bit dated now, but were awesome in their time.
5) The episodic structure works really well for an AVN, which each episode having a clear beginning and a clear end. I'm actually surprised this is the first time I see such a thing in an AVN, considering the usual episodic releases.

Cons:
1) The very strange use of RenPy. The main textbox is up instead of down, and the choice menu is down instead of in the middle, making the experience uncomfortable for no good reason. Also, the characters never use the RenPy function to speak directly, the narration is constantly quoting them instead. I understand this is a HTML port, but still…
2) Blake didn't get to bang Eve .
3) The game is basically abandoned. The characters are reintroduced in other games, but this one doesn't have a real ending and never will.

So, it was great while it lasted, but it didn't last for long. If you like the devs' style, I'd recommend Life Changes for Keeley - that one's plot is much simpler, but it has proper endings and far more sex.

This is amazingly well done! While reading this, I needed to take a break several times during it but I just couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next! I'd definitely be watching this on the edge of my seat if this were a TV show. I'm super excited to read the continuation now!

It is been a long time I haven't played game. This one started nicely - I recognized characters and events from other games.
I loved the way the story unfolds. Despite of the lack of lewd content - there was sizeable sexual tension.
Then BAAAM!!! Out of the blue arrived case 4 with one of the most intense and explicit sexual encounter I've ever experienced in a game.

This game fucking rocks!!!

Short browser-based VN with interesting story, well-written characters nice visuals and some minor browsed-based bugs. It's not an adult visual novel since there's almost no lewd content at all... but it is a nice detective story, bit short and unfinished but still interesting, you can even choose some dialogue lines (not every line but some.) I would love to see it turned into proper (couple-hours long) detective visual novel and not just a preview of one.

Great art and story. An advice try to play this game while reading AAA. it is a wonderful glimpse on the Elsaverse. I can't wait the sequel. The carachters are true ones, they are not animated pictures. You can't help to ask : what next. Enjoy a great game by Tlaero and Motze

This game has an interesting story with well-written characters and excellent visuals. It complements other games of the Elsaverse.
Though there are a few sex scenes, the focus of the game is on the story.
It's totally worth playing through multiple times to explore the different kinds of relationships you can have between the detectives.

also fuck those guys who rated it on the first ep with 1 star becasue it didn't have nudity yet and never updated their rating after the game got sex scenes.
An unfinished game does not deserve a bad rating for lacking content unless its never going to get updated holy fuck so many games have these sort of reviews that mess upp the rating system...

Not much smut, but amazing story, and expands in the backstory of a bunch of other games done by the same developer. "story over sex" says the developer.

Anyway, worth a playthrough or two at least.

Like the other guy below my already wrote, this game contains no nude content. When you play this game you will no see anything, no tits, butts or others, just a bit of cleavage. Thats a bit inappropriate in a only porn forum.

Non or less this game have a good story with a good art. With the existing content you will not get any hard-on so better wait for episode 2.

Now, without nude content I cannot give more than 1 star. If episode 2 give us nude content I will change this review.

- very boring and sleepy story

Conclusion: Right now its not worth to download and waste the hard disk space. Better wait for Episode 2 or further. If you just want something to read without playing with something in your pants then maybe its okay.
