I wanted to continue being partly educative, and teach you how to do things correctly (yeah, I'm bored today), but what the fuck... since when am I not grumpy ? So instead I'll limits to this...

[...] but everything I've done in the past few days is now stored on the new hard drive, so my saves will be meaningless, especially on the games I played thru start to last update.
Stop bullshitting like a diarrhetic bull.

Ren'Py simultaneously save its data both in the userland and in a "saves" folder located in the game directory. The last one being the "folder next to" that, accordingly to you, should exist and... well, effectively exist for Ren'Py games.
The games you shit on in your thread opening, are among the ones that have this indispensable requirement that you ask for in the same thread opening.

This mean that if you weren't lying like a snake oil vendor, and if your games were really located "on an external drive that can be moved between computers", you would have seen those save files when playing the games.
After all, they are on the external drive, it's Ren'Py that put them here, it know perfectly how to find them here, and it don't need to have a copy in the userland to use them.

If really you changed your computer, then played at least one Ren'Py game located on an external drive (by the way, don't you had issue with the file system ?), you would have known this.
If what you pretend was true, you would have seen the save files by yourself the first time you would have tried to save a Ren'Py game.

But no, you haven't seen those save files, and you call troll anyone who tell you that they exist and are really located there. And I put a bet on "MacOS X and Windows aren't compatible OSes, who would have thought" as reason behind our me issue.

Just one last word:
I'm not in Germany, but many are, members are on here from around the world and various reason to be concerned with this.
Pornography is illegal, or illegal to some extend, in ~60% of the 191 countries in the world. Many of them strictly enforce this, and in some you can even face a death sentence. But no, in an attempt to fallback on the excuse he built to hide his me issue, genius you decided to name Germany...

You really are a daft bugger. Using an example is just an example. Like your pathetic fixation that ONLY RenPy is what I'm talking about or ONLY Germany, because you ignore the words that make sense just so you can troll and sling false accusations and making idiotic comments about nothing.

These Developers may or may not be breaking laws in their countries, but they want people from all over to see and play their games, the more fetishes the better. In this path it is illogical to create this file path, unless you expect them to delete the AppData files after every play, which then defeats the purpose you boast so much about. SFTU and go back to trolling Reddit.
