Hi,

interested in games where you play a character and can roam around an open world, pursue love interests etc (but open to VNs as well).
Would be nice if there's also some element of character customization.

You forgot to mention this game is 40-200 gbs, which some find as a major downside

Tried something like Dandy Boy Adventures? Saw now it was cancelled, could still be helpful still tho.
There are some pretty good open world RPGMaker games like Cataclyzm, A Struggle with Sin and Katalist.
