Mod: DMD.Fantasy.Scenes-0.01 - Rocky Scene
I have been learning Ren'py and as part of that I have been looking at games I play...
Caution: this breaks previous saves ...
The attached Mod is an exercise on labels and menus. Basically it presents the player with options to merge two choices extending a scene and offers 2 alternate endings to both routes.
There are no new images nor animations, you will need to overlook some disjoint continuity.
The archive file contains 2 files:
Unpack them and place them in the Game folder.

Sorry, can't seem to fix this; looks like Ren'Py doesn't like script changes that add labels and new variables, both of which are needed to make the mod work.

You got a traceback?Cool mod but it's making all of my other scene saves pop an error when I try to load them.
I can not learn myself forensic debugging...

Sorry, learnt a few more dos and don'ts; but I don't seem to be able to fix this; it's the way Ren'Py is built to handle Rollbacks ...Cool mod but it's making all of my other scene saves pop an error when I try to load them.
I have updated the original attachments with my latest version which includes tweaks to the new dialogue, Here
As a mitigation, and what I have been doing because the scenes are sort without complex branches, is to save the menu screen after entering the MC and Dee's names and just play the scenes from there, skipping dialogue as necessary.
