I see you're starting this new year off strong.
I've been checking this thread status pretty much daily for at least a month, trusting in dev's status updates and emphasis on how much extra work was involved in finishing this update. I don't know jack shit about ren'py or VN mod development, but just glancing over the changelog should quickly settle any whiners; as usual, your mods tend to be head and shoulders above alternative offerings with regards to features and seamless integration with the base game, and this one is no exception.
The Ch.1 replay gallery is greatly appreciated, it previously felt somewhat disjointed replaying from start to finish, as the mod seemed to introduce a lot more changes in Ch. 2-3. No complaints, thank you for all your hard work over the holiday season (the Melody finale update, particularly the fantasy gallery, was also a masterpiece). Keep it up, whenever I stop being broke from the holidays I intend to re-sub on Patreon.
I'm getting an error at the end of chapter 1 and I think it's preventing me from transferring my save to chapter 2. Has anyone else gotten this error?

I think you have a non-english character/letter somewhere in your game's path. Or maybe it's because you're playing an unofficial compressed version of the game. I'm not sure. But it's not caused by the mod.

Sorry, ive got a problem with Ch. 1. I want to play it new. extractet complete new Chapter 0.14 included patch, copied Your mod to game folder and try to start the game. Folllowing erreor occure:

Thank you for your fast reply. Maybe i'm a little silly. I extractet the Chapter 1 in a Dating my Daughter Folder, i createt new, started without problems, put the the mode like decripted in game folder, started again, error:

The Programm can't load Lain Scenes. Normally i have no problems with any Mod for several Games. Only chapter 1, Ch2 or Ch3 work as well!

when you copy games folder from Lains mod zip file into yours does the computer asked you to overwrite bunch of files?

Okay, why is there a "mod" folder in the Game folder? Lain's mod should extract the rpyc files directly into the game folder.
the only 'mod' folder involved is with the CHAPTER 3 v0.24 version of the mod - so I'd say you installed the mod for DMD Chapter 3 v0.24 into DMD chapter 1.

The Chapter 1 mod is for v0.14.5 and your game says it's only v0.14
I remade the Chapter 1 mod a few weeks ago like it says at the top of this thread page, so the chapter 1 mod that you have is an old version.
Would it be alright if you deleted this post please? If I ever need to update the mod or download links I don't really want people trying to download the mod using the old links in your post.
