Daz store, Interactive license in AVNs

Trying to figure this out, according to this post

pretty much anyone that creates AVN's does not need to buy the interactive license because they use them in 2D images, not 3d models.

That seems to be common knowledge - but can anyone please show me where that is explained in the license? i can't seem to spot it.

So animations (if done in blender or Daz) don't count? those are 3d, i guess?

Animations are considered 2d images, as they are a series of images. Only when you you actually can manipulate the character in game, such as using a controller to move the character around, do you need the interactive license.
