That will be me Sir... u got me scared for a second as the daz->blender workflow is essential for me. Only did daz - blender once to ensure I can get it to work . Tried it again just now and got the same issue , until making the character folder , then saved the scene in the character folder with the exact file name as the folder. Once that was done the export automatically selected the correct folder and saved the file. Additionally still loads it in blender so all is good this is assuming you were able to use Diffeomorphic prior and its not your first time meaning the config/installation was already confirmed successful. If not :-/ that could also be the issue. just in case
Got there in the end :) 100% the best workflow. Daz for the ease of character creation, blender for everything else.

People tend to overcomplicate the process. Operator Presets + Checking "Body" will take care of basically anything for Diffeo.

The actual hard part is making sure you have the files in the right place. :KEK:

What type of hair is it? Like strand based or hair cards?

But you most likely just got to change some of the metallic, roughness, or specular settings in the hair nodes.
Yeah it was the top coating weight for me that I just had to turn down.

Using blender 4.4.3 atm together with the newest diffeo addon. Was quite easy to setup and everything works quite well. Only thing is that some morphs are not imported to drivers, like natural bending, which can only be turned off by deleting the driver's or unchecking the shape keys. Also, when I'm importing a Gen 9 with dicktator and convert the rig into mhx, the legs have are being separated and are impossible to rig. Anyone else got that issue too?

Have you fixed this issue?

I know this is old thread but I am also having problems with something similar. Like for props/object, I cant import over their morphs. Like I have doors, fridge etc that have open & close morphs but it wont show in Blender :s .

They might not be morphs and could be poses or some mix of the two. Personally when it comes to Daz objects in Blender I usually rip them apart and put them back together in a away that makes sense for typical DCC work. Not syaing thta's what you shoudl do, just saying it's what I do.

Other than that I'd make sure your Diffeo and Blender versions are matched.

You are right about this actually, Like the parts are individual objects. Fridge main is object and then the door is an individual object so yeah I think its not a morph. When you mean rip them apart and put them together, do you mean like duplicating the door imports with one that is open and one that is closed?. So its like I have two door objects and I just activate one that I need?

I wonder if I can turn that into a morph in daz but I dont really know the process

When you mean rip them apart and put them together.....
That was sort of a figure of speech. Though some times 100% true. I go through and process the model. I start by identifying parts and separating it out into those logical parts. Then I parent everything in a way that makes sense for the object and add constraints, or some times I'll parent the whole thing to a simple rig. Sometimes not. Depends on the situation and what it calls for.
