I just picked up the Octane DAZ3D Plugin and I am having some lighting issues for interiors. Anyone out there use the plugin and have some good tips? I have been researching all morning and I found some good advice about the kernel type and all that, but I am still struggling.

I used to use ghost lights for interiors, but those are useless now with Octane

Everything is done with mesh lights, with the light/emitter material applied in Octane. I end up recreating actual movie/photo lights and lighting things very much the way one would in real life. That said, the light emitters can take IES profiles, but I haven't played with that at all. (Even though I suspect it will save me lots of time...)
