Nice. Someone ranted without sharing the files. At least let us judge the game ourselves.

It requires doing some stuff each time you open the game, but it's not too fastidious. Here are the files, the crack is made using MelonLoader, and a UnityExplorer plugin for it. Just unzip it in the Dead Dating folder.

Here's a recording showing what to do. For those wanting details:
1- Deleting the login object, otherwise an annoying Itch.io popup appears
2- Loading the main menu, therefore bypassing the game trying to check if you have a legitimate itch copy.
3- Press F7 to hide the unity explorer menu

Side note, some people said that the dev tries to get and save your IP. I have no idea if that's true and doubt he can do anything with it anyway. But still, you should block the game from accessing the internet in your firewall.


Edit: Didn't think about it, but you maybe also need to install some .Net Microsoft stuff, especially dotnet 6. Check here for the Melon Loader requirements here

If it still doesn't work, then I can't really help you, I'm not an individual tech assistant. You could try to apply the MelonLoader and UnityExplorer stuff yourself, it may work, or at least give you useful error messages.

MelonLoader: Just launch it, select the Dead Dating exe, and install

Unity Explorer: extract in the Dead Dating folder

Here there is two versions, depending on your MelonLoader install. Try the 0.6.1 first (latest one), if it doesn't work, maybe the 0.5.7 will. You can change the MelonLoader version in the installer. Be sure to delete everything in the Mods and UserLibs folders if trying the second Unity Explorer version after the first, so there is no conflict.

Sorry if it sounds stupid lol. I'm new to the site and was looking for the game. I read parts of this thread, so apparently the game is fully out, but no one has the cracked full version anymore? I saw some people recommending this game and others saying it's not worth it. I can't afford it (dollar is too expensive for me), but I am curious. There is a full version available or it's impossible now?

Kinda hard, since to proceed in game, you have to log in your itch account as proof that you bought the game. The cracked version we have currently is made by someone by skipping the log in part. Though older version, I think the story is complete + one character's dlc. Still, it'll be great if we get the full version.

There is a Full base version shared in this thread, which requires you to follow some instruction to apply the crack yourself.
(sry you need to dig for it yourself Or maybe someone else can point it to you).

We just don't have the latest version with new DLCs.
And this is definitely not a game worth buying, you can just play the base version to see yourself. (No one cracking the latest version also is a sign it's not popular.)
Anyone recommends this one probably haven't played many games, and since you are here, you get access to many better options ;)

when i open it it s all black with what i think is a red itch io popup at the bottom even with the crack, should i reinstall or is it just a very long loading?
edit: It works, i didn't see the mp4 explaining how to do it thank you

You have to use unityexplorer on it dude, destroy the login object then just load to the main menu because you're gonna have to bypass this part

Well, I tried to crack the game but I'm really dumb with this kind of thing :LOL: and it only gives me the black screen error, it doesn't even show the error screen asking for login
I just have to wait longer until something simpler comes out

Unless you're willing to buy the full game, you're gonna wait a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitle long time.
