It is a "bullet hell", a side genre of side scrolling and topdown shmups. As the name implies, it is hard as "hell". And the most famous/infamous examples for the bullet hell genre are the Dodonpachi games and the Touhou series. Therefore the game isn't shit, you are just not skilled enough yet.

I really wish the mouse movement was for all difficulties. When playing shmups or bullet hells I have huge precision problems with keyboard or gamepad. I am just to bad in getting used to it.

Good game but feel like a low version of "Sentimental Shooting" ...
I mean "Deep Space" have better graphics, one hand play but lack of hentai content ... One scene, one pose per Girl ... no evolution for girl and no developped reward content ...

I definitly prefer "Sentimental Shooting" (if you try to dl this very old game, beware for virus !)

Thanks for having the old version of the game with Retro Mode. The updated version on Steam took out that mode and i felt that mode gave the game a nostalgic atmosphere and prefer it over the newer art style.
