Heads up.
Howdy! Here’s what’s up:
-The update will be released late at night or tomorrow, but it will be released.
-Everyone who pledged to us in either August or September can DM me and get the link - I will make a public post saying the exact same thing after we upload 0.4.9.
-Vivarium has three storylines that are tied together by a quest, the biggest one is “Farm” and it is not ready yet. We need more time to work on it (I’ll explain later in this post). We will add it with a bugfix in approximately a week.
I’ve attached all “Farm” teasers we’ve shown over the last couple of month for a reason - it’s a proof that content exists, for the exact same reason we’ll upload 0.4.9 without its arguably better half - too much time has passed and we need to release something to prove that we’re not slacking.
All of the content from the teasers either belongs to our “Pet-play” part or “Farm” part of the "Vivarium" location - so 0.4.9 won’t have them. 0.4.9a (bugfix) will include all “Farm" content and 0.5 will have Petplay.
Apologies for a late heads up, I’ve made this decision today. Now, here’s why we’re gutting 0.4.9 right now and releasing it without “Farm” content:
It has seven days of content, we should have released them gradually instead of doing them all, but I thought we could do it all at once, and we still can, but right now it’s simply not ready.
Unlike other places “Farm” part has an unusual amount of alternative dialogue:
New conditioning event that you will experience in 0.4.9 messes up Kira’s head and triggers an alternative narrative, then we have alternative text for “lactation", alternative text for “pregnancy”, alternative text if Kira has “lactation” fetish, alternative text if Kira has “pregnancy” fetish, and our usual “Lust/Int” stats.
Same thing goes for art. Ex. with “lactation content” turned on Kira will use a milking machine, otherwise she’ll use sex-toys.
I wrote everything in a way that if you have “lactation/pregnancy” turned off - no one will even mention it. And the story itself is equally as interesting.
Without fetishes:
Day 1 - Intro, new name (Fuckmeat), stockings and collar and “sleep” event. Every Vivarium character will call Kira “Fuckmeat” from this point forward (permanently).
Day 2 - Optional breast enlargement, “machine training” event, “sleep” event.
Day 3 - Optional Nose ring piercing, “machine training” + “Sleep” event.
Day 4 - “machine training”, “tail plug” event (wearable tail plug) + “Sleep” event.
Day 5 - “machine training” (repeatable option), “pillory” event 1 + “Sleep” event.
Day 6 - “machine training” (repeatable option), “pillory” event 2 + “Sleep” event.
Day 7 - “machine training”, “pillory” event 3, branding tattoo.
Branding will lead to Kira being a “fair game” and accepting any sexual advances by default. Ultimately Farm will become like a “job”. with repeatable “machine”, “pillory” and “sleep” events.
Of course everything will be optional and consensual, as per usual.
With fetishes:
On top of everything above, Kira will start lactating, will become pregnant and will be able to become pregnant again moving forward. Again, she’ll either be extremely displeased or will cooperate with Farm residents (based on stats and choices).
To spice things up, each day Kira will have a “normal” task to do, like gathering things and talking to people.
As you can imagine, it wasn’t easy to do, we’ve been doing this thing for a couple of months now and we’re almost there, we just need a couple of days to polish everything, since it’s currently as raw as it gets, due to its size and new content I’ve added to it recently.
0.4.9 will now become a “set up” update, since the majority of it is my absurd humor. But it will also have a new outfit, the location itself, new npcs, a groping scene and a new conditioning event - based on your content preferences you’ll either get one event or three. Since I don’t want anyone to feel left out, and because we’re struggling with time as it is, “lactation” and “pregnancy” events will use the same art.
Despite the “Farm” itself being cut, it has all variables that we need and hundreds of pages of hopefully entertaining text. I’ll list everything else in the “changelog”.
Again, apologies for a late heads up, as usual I was convinced that we will pull it off, I’d say that I shouldn’t have added those two new events over the last two weeks, but without them the content felt too empty and repetitive. After the release of 0.4.9 we will continue crunching and won’t rest until the farm part will be up and running, I hope you can understand.
I really don’t want you to feel that this will be a subpar update, because despite the lack of “Farm” at the update that was supposed to be all about the Farm, 0.4.9 is the best thing I wrote (in my humble opinion) and I really want to hear you’re opinions after you’ll play it.
