Wait ya'll are fast forwarding through the hypno scenes? Isn't that like 85% of all the porn in the game? Where are you trying to go? Speedrun to completion? I get wanting to skip the plain dialogue but do you just want to look at the pictures? Just go into the files and view them if that's all you want.
The scene was like to naked women standing next to each other and the Mother was just spouting the same lines over and over and over again and at some point I just kept my finger on the button and even then it still took forever.

Never mind the fact that all these brainwashing and hypnotizing in the game hardly seems to have any effect at all. :KEK:

Yes, but that is basically every scene in the entire game. If you are talking about the one I think you are talking about, that's probably the MOST dynamic of any scene Mulan has released yet. If you're not here for the dialogue and not here for those porn scenes, I'm not really sure what else the game has to offer? Adding in effects caused by the brainwashing/hypnosis is only going to make more of those style of scenes appear. It's a text-based porn-game leaning heavily into hypnosis and brainwashing. Maybe I'm missing something, but what you're describing seems like you're skipping content to get to content that is very similar in structure and presentation to what you just skipped.

No, I definitely didn't skip any content...
Like it or not, in a game that is basically all text with a few dynamic pictures, text is content. Like I said, Mulan hasn't encrypted the images in the game to .rpgmvp files for awhile. The pictures are all available for viewing in the files.

I'm aware of that and I'm reading the actual content. But that scene had no content. It had like 3 lines on repeat for 100+ times. The scene could've been around 75% shorter without losing any actual content. It was just badly written and in desperate need of an editor who would've cut most of it out.

Which scene is this? I don't think I have come across a scene that repeats more than just 'trigger' phrases between actual new content.

It's the 3rd brainwashing scene with the Mother and no it is just endless drivel without actual content again and again and again...

I just ran through that scene for the first time in awhile. It took maybe 5 minutes and is definitely not "the same three words" on repeat. It took me longer to get to the scene than doing the scene took. A lot of walking, with nothing in between. That'd be my criticism.

Maybe I'm alone in this, but isn't hypnosis and brainwashing supposed to have some repetition in the message it is trying to imprint? If you want less, then by all means I hope other people speak up and Mulan sees it, that's fine. But I'm on the opposite side here. I don't mind the reading and DON'T want to see scenes significantly reduced in length.

As much as I like to pretend that you all don’t exist, I do take your opinions into consideration. However, that “taikawaititi” guy is straight up not chill - like, what the heck dude? This is a hypno game, I thought that much was clear, no?

Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of the writing, as...insane as it is. But that scene just broke me in a different way. :HideThePain:

The fact that you didn’t enjoy my game makes me sad, but to each their own. So, good luck in your future endeavors, comrade (y)
That's not what I said. :WaitWhat:

I liked it, but that one scene was just...overindulgent. I wasn't even the one who brought it up.

If I were to complain about one thing in this game that would be the lore. Especially the really dumb shit like "Mount Rush B".

If you want to poke fun at the USSR fine, there is lost of fun to be poked. Why make up stuff that utterly ruins the suspension of dissbelief?

That’s actually a really good point and I agree - I’m going to change Shwifts real name from Taylor to Polina for that exact reason.

Buuuut, this is a satire and things will become more ridiculous in the future, so I’m not sure we should change that one.
I guess I’ll return to this topic after we’ll add more lore.

Mf really just critisized the realism of a game with cow ladies and a floating city lol
Suspension of disbelief..., bro they're fucking painting trees red, da hell?

It's a tad drawn out and repetitive tho to be fair
I liked it. It's definitely longer than all the other events, but it never really seemed too long to me. Doesn't seem to be an uncommon opinion that it was too long though, so I dunno. Maybe something that will be polled on at some point. Our fate lies with the Patrons :HideThePain:
