It's far from perfect, but the game certainly isn't abandoned. Behind the scenes we are working on a new, most very polished version of the game. We don't know when the demo will come out just yet, but just wait a little bit. It will be awesome.
Development update!
You haven't heard anything in a while, so I figured it would be nice to give an update. We are very busy with the development of a demo, since the game needed a lot of restructuring. I think it would be fun to introduce the people working on the game.
Team
With the help of our writer gacorman70 we have laid the foundation for a completely new concept and storyline. Try out his own game called Grolokk, it's awesome! The always friendly Frankohh is very knowledgeable about the Harry Potter universe, and he makes sure we follow (most) of its rules. Our artist doesn't have a F95Zone account, but he has improved a lot since he started drawing and painting for DADA. As for me, I am the programmer who's implementing the gameplay functionality into the game.
Overview
You play as Lord Voldemort. Having discovered a powerful new curse to wrest control of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, you set out to infiltrate the hollowed academic institution as the new "Defense Against the Dark Arts" teacher, as you begin your dark quest to corrupt and exploit the women at the school!
Story
At the founding of the Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, in the year 990 AD, the founder of House Slytherin, Salazar Slytherin, realized at some point he might have to wrest control of the school from the other founding Wizards and Witches given their liberal thinking and their agreeance to letting muggle born into their academic institution.
To do so, he secretly created the Curse of the Six Serpents. The curse, when activated, creates a massive Imperius field over the school, bringing under the dominion of the caster all who walk the halls of the school, even it’s most powerful wizards. To activate the curse from it’s dark altar deep under the school, the caster must offer 6 sacrifices, women, who have each been corrupted and broken to the will of the caster. Once “sacrificed”, the women will become the absolute obedient sexual slaves of the caster, as their souls have been swallowed up and used to power the curse.
Current progress
We are implementing the gameplay functionalities and writing the story scenes. However, we can show you a little sneak peek on how the art has improved. I will show you a few the new sprites , and if you have played earlier versions of the game, I am certain you will find it a lot better than the previous sprites!
We are aiming to release a demo this year, but we don't know a date yet. I will try to post an update every once in a while in this thread.

It's time for another small development update! As I stated in the previous post, we are working hard to increase the quality of the game and have redesigned almost all of the character sprites. Today I will showcase you two new sprites of characters you should know, Quidditch star-to-be Ginny and the intelligent, yet always quirky Luna. They already have made an appearance in previous versions of DADA, but I am confident when I say their character art also got better. Are you ready for the sprite reveal? Here we go!

I'm going to take a guess and say that the first three from the top are Hermione, Ginny, and Luna. I think the fourth is Pansy but I'm not sure, and I don't know who the last two are.

Good day! It's time for another update. Today we will introduce the three other characters other characters as seen in the previous screenshot. This will be the last news update we place via F95Zone, since we created a Patreon where we will post all other news starting tomorrow. We won't only place news, but also work in progress of scenes (sketches), polls and more. Also, we set up an Discord which we will use later. Don't feel obliged to follow us on Patreon, though it would help us a lot on our journey of creating the best parody HP game, the game will always be free. Now it's time to talk about the characters!
Milliesweet Vanntrubal is a sweet, pretty young witch from house Hufflepuff. Milliesweet, or Millie for short, is well known for her kind, innocent demeanor, but is also known for being quite the clutz. Despite being a bookish student, she is also hopelessly gullible and naive, and is often the butt of some childish pranks, especially from the boys in her classes. This has only intensified as Millie has begun to develop into a rather buxom young woman, and she is not quite aware of the amount of attention her newly developed figure attracts from the boys in her classes. It doesn’t help that she is quite a prude. Her impressive figure, and lack of awareness and quick wit, has earned her a reputation as a bit of an airhead.
The mother of Ginny, Ron, and the other Weasley children. She is a pureblooded witch but mother and housewife by occupation. She is loving and good natured, a long time member of the Order of the Phoenix, she acts as den mother to Ron, Harry, and Hermoine, and anyone else who needs sheltering in the Weasely’s home. Despite her occupation being primarily a wife and mother, she is still a very capable witch.
A cruel and sadistic young witch, Pansy enjoys bullying and teasing others, especially for physical features. She is very loyal to the old Slytherin establishment and Dracoy Malfoy. Pansy has a rebellious streak and contempt for anyone or any institution she thinks are unworthy, which is many. She is also very promiscuous, and enjoys using her body to get what she wants. More than anything she seems to enjoy teasing men much older than her, or unattractive or socially awkward boys who don’t have a shot with her. While not a dumb girl, Pansy is quite bored with most subjects, though she does have a strong interest and excellent aptitude in both Curses, and the Defense Against the Dark Arts.
