Sounds a bit like Matrix Hearts with difference that MC didn't lose his leg completely but he suffered a serious injury to it and therefore MC has no possibility to continue his career in climbing which he practiced and then he got a chance to test some new device that may possibly help him regain efficiency in his leg.
