By the time I'm writing this review, this game was finished by the dev.
It is a solid 5 star in my opinion, the renders are good and they don't look the same, which is a problem in quite a few games. The plot is nice and a bit refreshing, quite a lot of sex scenes, and the options will satisfy most of you sick bastards out there. The updates were consistent and the time between them was fair by the amount of content released with each update. And the endings are not rushed like a lot of games that started good and went downhill.

good job finishing it and my condolences. Its a well rounded game with some very good scenes. The story is progressing if sometimes a little bit all over the place but its going with a straight goal ahead. And of course its finished so i respect that.
The sex scenes also have ups and downs i prefer the female side of the orgasm rather then seeing the mans side. So if the woman enjoys it more and cums more than the guy in one session its always a bonus in my game. Also the facial expression are capters solid and there is a good varity on top of the the different characters and their dialogues.

The story is original... and well written. There are some spelling mistakes, and there are some logic gaps. It jumps through some hoops, but it is solid.

The character models are fantastic...but the real joy... every scene gives you something to look at. An ass, tits, leg... always something teasing you in the picture. Wish more games did this...

Also, we don't need 100 different character to fuck. Let us get to know 4 or 5 characters, and enjoy that fucking.

Its just kinda boring, I dont really know how to say it better than that. Renders are good, animations are good, its just super vanilla stuff. You're following the life of a guy who happens to have normal sexual encounters (albeit frequent ones). It's fine, it's just nothing crazy to me.

It's a beautiful game, and I fell in love with Katherine. Congratulations to a very fun game maker I play with excitement every time I update because no one knows what's going to happen, make sure you play the game

Amazing game, the developer brings an original story that is not the typical college VN. The renders and animations are among the best and the girls are hot especially katherine and there are many paths. Props to the Dev for making a different and original game.

Underappreciated game and developer who has less than 300 patrons. For such a quality product it's a crime. When it comes to graphics and sex scenes it has one of the best there are, characters are also interesting and the wife is the best I've seen in any VN. Plot-wise it's also more interesting than 90% of VNs with some mystery and spicy situations. Writing is good for a porn game and in general it's a high quality game that's unfortunately very poorly received judging by number of patrons.

Pros:

Cons:
-While plot is good and the game is great I would prefer if the story would end soon because I feel that it's starting to jump the shark. Which doesn't matter that much since even at this state it's in the top 10 games for sure.

An overall great, genuenly nice looking and hot game, with pleasent female and male characters design.
Specifically want to complement author's implementation of swinging/sharing/netorase content - he gets the kink.
Even during such adventurous activities, the transpiring scenario and result are always under MC's control. Everything kept in the bounds of arrousing welcome and mutualy fulfilling emotions. Even if certain scene contains the sexual action you don't want the wife to perform - you have the option to not pick it and press instead "continue", thus adapting scenario according to your liking on the fly.
Very flexible and well implemented design, bravo.

(Small nitpick about the latter chapters: I get that The First Hunter is on simpy and sneaky side of things and gets what he deserves, but maybe it's time to give the guy some slack and the moment to shine - dude had it rough already with all performance and inferiority related teasing Hope in future updates he'll grow as a character, show some respect and comradory to MC and get deserved respect in return, in all form that are available. Yeah, I kinda like First Hunter's design

Deliverance Chapter XVI

I give 1 star for the earlier chapters which were kinda simple stories and not complicated unlike later chapters with so many LIs, cultists, SWATs and demons.
1 star for the hot wife Kat, great renders overall and interesting story.
1 star for the developer, 1Thousand who work really hard trying to accomodate and satisfy all his Patreon supporters and the community.

This VN game has an interesting story to tell with the addition of unconventional fetishes/kinks. Lots of contents, replayability and explorations. Play as Hero or Villain, pick/reject LIs etc.

Honestly, I would definitely had given 5stars if I had reviewed the earlier version of this game.

Last but not least, keep up the lewd work, 1Thousand.

The developer wrote a pretty interesting plot but his budget doesn t allow him to buy more powerful rig to dish out better renders to push it to top tier game. It s still a pretty decent game though and you can actually just play for the story and not the sex part. Not many games in this genre are able to do that.

The story is really interesting, the music is quite good, and the wife is cute and hot enough. She kind of turns into a slut a little bit too quick, but well, she offers a lot of sexual content.

What is lacking in this game, in my opinion are 2 areas:
Characters are not likeable enough, or maybe there is not enough character development for me to get invested in them and like them. Thats is a problem for me with the wife, cause i kind of dont feel like she is mine, so the sharig thing, it doesnt matter if its hot, im not feeling it.

And then the sex scenes, i dont know if the shots are bad, or visuals or what happens, but they are mising something, and its weird cause i kind of felt this thing was written by and adult, there is details here and there, so i expected the sex scenes to be better.

And the last part i will call it bonus. This will be the way the scenes come one after another jumping from one place to another, sometmes without transition like choosing to go home, but there is not a scen at home, and it jumps straight to the next day back to work. Its like you dont see your wife for 2 days. Sometimes it feels like is lacking consistency.

And then the way the options you chose for the routes play out. You choose for instance the sharing option, and in that moment nothing is happening, and the scenes happens later, andis kind of confusing cause sometimes its not clear that a specific scene happened because oneof your choices. At some point it seems the wife has gone in a fucking spree.

Confusing, and thats why this game is 3 and not 5 for me.

Deliverance is more of a serious story based game but doesn't lack the good quality adult scenes.

As a story based game, you could say the story is pretty good. Along the whole game there is a direction for the story to progress and it doesn't waste time on some bullshit. The characters are nice and especially Katherine is really charming even though her smile is sometimes kinda weird, but that what's sweet about her.
I can't say that the MC had some development arc and he felt pretty monotonous.

Roughly at the beginning of the game there was some cool mechanic presented that could add some gameplay which is the "side mission" (cases) you could solve as a private investigator but was dropped really fast afterwards and that's a shame.

To the end of the game, it felt like the story started to drag on and on and could be wrapped up faster. Many of the scenes when looking back were meaningless and didn't add nothing to the story. (for example going to the canals or getting the weapons... when looking back, it didn't feel like they changed the story or had some high significance to it)
It seemed to me that the only turning point in the story (related to the MC) was pretty close to the end of the release but should be much much sooner than that.

Talking about the graphics, the models in the game looks really good, some exaggerated asses, but really good nonetheless. The game is abundant with sex scenes but on the other hand, after you have seen some of them, you have seen them all, from time to time you could see something new and refreshing which will draw you to actually look and not just skip forward. The animations are good and appealing and can turn you on probably pretty easy.

Overall the game is pretty good and worth playing and supporting the developer.

Can I just say, as someone who followed the dev around the first 5 chapters, then gotta drop out of patreon thanks to COVID and only checked this game back this week, Deliverance is just otherworldly. The story is excellent, music vibe is on point, the rendering are beautiful, and if I have to nitpick, there are just a few typos left to polish.
Personally, I don't think this game even needs the NSFW scenes to be considered a mastapiece. My respect to 1Thousand as a dev for pulling this through with very limited funding supports.

Review version of Chapter XV

• Game choices have deep story impact which is excellent
• Overall design, pace, story telling are great
• There are variety of love interest with their kinks and fetish that cater to many
• Overall art and world environment is good
• Instead of being a porn game with a story, it is a story with good smut in it.
• The world building is not rushed and the story is somewhat unique.
• One of the few games where i want more chapters than the developer want to make

Overall a good story, flawed by a sometimes difficult translation.
Graphically the game is very well done, with only a few small issues related to the renders.
The Dev offers both an NTR/sharing and Vanilla route, each of which has its own content. Though I cannot comment on if this is a 1-to-1 equal with regards to renders.

My main complaints with the game are two things; (which are smaller things anyway).
1) There are several plot points that are not left unresolved (the ultimate fate of the police partner 'Charles' being an example of such). While these issues may be addressed in a sequel (the ending of the game was also a bit of a cliffhanger), as a player I can only review/judge on what is before me.

2) Some of the decisions regarding sex scenes were a little questionable. The massive and repetitive focus in Anal is a bit annoying for people who are not particularly into that fetish. With Sarah (the blonde policewoman) this eventually gets to the point that vaginal sex ceases to even be a real option for the player. Despite the reasons given in-game the 'anal play' is massively overdone. A second and similar issue (though to a much lesser extent) is the fact that (at least on my playthrough). The Mc had to allow his wife (arguably the primary LI) to engage in a lesbian threesome before the MC was even given the option of potentially joining in. To sum up, this point, while the sex scenes were fairly diverse (in terms of who they were with) the sexual options 'within' those scenes were somewhat limited.


Overall, I did enjoy the game. I think it is definitely flawed and could probably have used some more polish. Regardless of that, if you have several hours free and want to play a decent police'ish, supernatural'ish story, Deliverance is a title I would consider.

Notes;

- I like to disclose if and how much I have donated to a title, as for some that can impact the validity of a review. As such I will say that I have not $upported the game or Dev with €uro's.
Reason? I will not $upport projects that devote resources to producing Sharing/NTR content, even if such content is optional/avoidable.

Additional note; I have only played the 'hero/teammates' path thus far. I may play the control path at a later date, but it is a longer title and I am not sure doing so would change the story in any significant way.

This game is almost 5 stars and it's pretty easy to see why. Most of the people who loved this game are probably the ones who get aggravated when a game takes an update or two to throw a bunch of sex scenes at you because this game doesn't disappoint in that department.

I'm not gonna dive too deep into the story of this game. It's actually a good story or has potential to be if it didn't give itself away to throw all this meaningless sex at you. It's kinda like the dev is aware that his audience wants to see sex and a lot of it so they have catered the game to cater to them and it makes the story suffer. You'll be having serious conversations and serious set ups to the plot and instead of letting that linger or up the stakes the characters will stop all of that to get their rocks of "just because"

The game does it's art well. The renders are more for the people who love their women to have nice bodies as most of the women have either nice assets in one category or another. Personality wise I mean they're ehhh. The wife is kinda like whatever she doesn't really mind what you do, doesn't mind you're surrounded by women all the time or that you could possibly be carrying on affairs, she could really careless, lowering the stakes on those decisions. The police girl, she shows SOME character but not a lot. The rest as well, they're gonna come across as fuck dolls more than actual characters to be honest.

The rest of the characters, they feel pretty empty as well. They're there to serve some kinda purpose to the MC but that's about it. None of them particularly stand out. Even the main antagonist which they try very hard to build up and give you a reason to want to go after this guy, is only kind of meh. The stills in this game with the women while they're talking are funny, in an annoying sort of way. While standing having a conversation the women will start posing in front of you like they're doing a model show or something. Or the wife's famous pose like she's a pretend airplane. I give the credit to the dev for not just wanting still shots all the time but, ehh not sure this is the way this needed to go.

All in all the game is okay. I honestly feel like it's too watered down with sex scenes for me to take seriously. Every time I try to invest in the plot it'll throw one or two more meaningless sex scenes my way and take my mind off the plot. The game also jumps around very suddenly too. One minute you'll be having sex with your wife the next you'll be at the office or police station, then you'll be cornering a prostitute, then you'll be waking up the next day trying to figure out what next to do.

The dev has put in some effort which keeps it from being a 2 star, but no way can I give this a 4 star. If you like your games with more porn than plot but with an okay/good plot, this will be good for you. IF you like story and earned sex scenes that mean something in the grand scheme of things, then this will probably be a miss.

The story picks up slow & continues to build towards the main event without distracting you with side quest mumbo jumbo & all the build up is worth meeting the Red haired devil.
The game play is nothing but a choice based VN where your actions decides whether you‘re evil or good. A little more focus on evidence collection or puzzle solving while in free roam would have improved the gameplay experience since it is a detective game after all.
The render quality is awesome & the effort to the details are always a welcome move. The characters are amazing and look naturals.

Ok first off, everyone who complains that this is another NTR game are just virgins still living with their parents who don't know anything about a real relationship. If you wanted something real try finding someone in real life rather than coming to diss on a game that has put hundreds and hundreds of hours of work on it. You give it a bad review because what you don't like the side content in it.

HAVE YOU EVEN GONE THROUGH THE STORY ?

There's only one a few games on f95zone with such door writing and genuine emotions. The Renders are done soo well and I've kept the game in my storage all the way from chapter 1 to now. You keep wanting to come back to the gallery to see some of the scenes.

There's actual death and remorse and revenge on this game. It's serious and if this was not a VN it would have been a big title with lots of action and lots of side quests. The dev certainly deserves a lot of praise. I'm super glad the game is trending, just shows that even if you hate a game for a litte bit of sharing it'll still be good because the plot the scenes and Everything else about the game is jist outstanding
