RPGM - Demon Deals [v0.07c] [Breadman Games]

One of my personal favorites on this site.

Pros:
Sets a high bar in terms of writing, animations, and generally bug-free gameplay. Rare to see writing executed well on this site.
Hand drawn animations are very polished. Some of the best 2dcg animations i've seen on this site.
Story has familiar aspects but still feels fresh. Characters have some depth and show human aspects of vascillation and uncertainty. Makes for a much better story.
Developers are very active with the community, answer questions, and regularly post updates. Weekly streams.
Successfuly built an engaging world that helps to distract from the RPGM platform. While travel still can feel grindy; it definitely helps to have a polished world that is memorable.


Cons:
Honestly, a lot comes from the RPGM platform. Some of these scenes are long, and if you'd like to stop during one youre either required to finish the scene out or quit and lose your progress as RPGM wont let you save mid-scene.
Character progression is all out of whack; but others have mentioned why.
The story is great but can feel grindy in its execution; but again this is largely because of the platform.

The amount of handjobs and boobjobs is too goddamn high while random characters are getting fucked crazy style can I see some actual progression here with the family please and thanks. Overall not a bad game to play rn but Id wait for more substantial updates with the fam

Very good Storytelling. Good Animations. Hot Characters. Love the Artwork.

I like the way how the story moves forward and that different characters get a whole arc when their update comes. Outside of that, the story is woven nicely together with each update.

PROS:

• Good art style.
• Most of the characters are interesting and aren't entirely one-dimensional. The MC, for example, isn't a coward, nor an overconfident dick. He's flawed and immature but has a good heart, makes it easy to root for him and play as him.
• The incest storyline, while pretty cliche, is executed very well and has a great slow burn. The relatives aren't just completely enamored by MC's dick immediately, they are constantly at battle with themselves on whether or not this path is right for them.
• Proper use of the English language.

CONS:

• I'll say it time and time again. RPG Maker is a terrible, outdated engine and I'll never understand why so many adult games use it. It's buggy, it's generic, and the resolution is terrible. Imagine how much better the art would look in its uncompressed form.
• Atrociously large sandbox with no fast travel system and many areas with absolutely nothing to do. Also, many events are time-sensitive so if you can't walk to the section of the map you're supposed to before the hour changes, you're screwed for that event until the next day. So much precious time wasted because walking to different buildings takes way too long, even with auto run on.
• Some characters have absolutely ridiculous body proportions. Not exactly my cup of tea, but if you like it then this game is for you I guess?
• This game has been in development for years and the furthest you'll get with most of the family is a blowjob. I understand and respect going the slow burn route, but at the same time, that only works if the actual development time is well paced. At this rate, we're not getting a Leslie and Ashley threesome for years.

TLDR:
Demon Deals still has a lot of potential, but I don't rate games on potential. What we have now is a game that has pretty good art and solid writing; unfortunately, those things are bogged down by an outdated engine, an annoying sandbox, and lengthy development times. I'd give it a 2.5 star rating if I could, but I'll be generous and bump it up to a 3.

One of the best RPGM games.
Reasonable dialogue, the MC is neither a useless nerd nor a total tyrant, he shows some dominance just fine and tries to be a gentlement most of the time.
Abundance of female characters (maybe too much), lots of them are yet to have ther storyline so let's wait. I'd prefer a few female with longer stroyline and some different stage transformation but that's my busuiness. The game offers great character design and all of them have some "useful" scene, if you know what i mean.

Good game excellent art and a very good plot fora a game like this faster update required and npc npc interaction is required specially between the capture targets.

I don't often review things, usually only when they are bad, but this was so perfectly to my tastes that I love it. I only have 3 gripes, all of which I'd say take only 0.1 points each away out of 5.

First is the general, development is slow. I would say this is a big problem, but there's A LOT of content, so it's all good. The content is also so good, that I can forgive it almost entirely, but since I'm always left wanting more, I can't ignore it either.

Second is the number of side characters. If you are into that, that's fine, but while the main family is 2 already, that's only the beginning. There's also the aunt and the cousin when it comes to incest fetish, which are both amazing as well. But beyond that, there's 4 teachers, I think 2 extra school staff at least, multiple classmates, several random people you meet through out the town for various reasons, multiple divine beings from demons to angels and I've lost count.

It's... great, but a bit too much when I wish the main cast got more focus. They get plenty, there really is a lot of content, but... still.

And the final is gameplay. It's there, but it's mostly a linear story with several side stories that you need to do to continue the main story and there is also optional combat, but it doesn't really add much. Not the greatest sandbox mechanics wise, but it's not a significant problem either, so again, it's fine.

Everything else? I love all of it. I usually hate horrible proportions, but the art style is JUST RIGHT that it works in most scenes perfectly, the story is amazing and I want more, the characters are either lovable or interesting, it's all great. Either play this or wait until a future day once it's maybe one day finished to experience either a masterpiece or something that really seems to be on it's way there.

This game has some of the best writing I’ve ever experienced. The scenarios are so unique and perfectly crafted that they couldn’t be replicated in any other game. The hand-drawn art style adds a level of originality you just don’t see elsewhere—it’s clear this game was made with incredible love, precision, and attention to detail.

As a novice game designer, I’m blown away by the effort put into every little thing, from the seamless transitions between cutscenes to the cleverly hidden easter eggs. The characters are truly one of a kind, each with engaging quests that feel refreshingly new and unlike anything I’ve played before.

I also really appreciate the quest guides—they’re straightforward and easy to follow, even when I wasn’t fully paying attention. I honestly have nothing but praise for this game. Now, I’m just eagerly waiting for the next update!

Graphics 4.8/5
Features a western cartoony style with vibrant colors and exaggerated proportions. Each character is unique, brimming with visual personality. There is no same-face syndrome. The expressiveness, character acting and visual storytelling is second to none. The sheer amount of illustrations here is mindblowing. Even non-porn game rarely feature this much hand drawn art.
The animation has evolved over the release, featuring a mix of slideshows of still images, 2d puppet-style animation as well as traditional keyframed animation. There's few xxx games with as much to offer visually as this. It's a passion project. I'm worried the amount of effort being poured into this may result in burnout. The update schedule results in moderate story progression about two times a year. Will the creator want to continue making this game for another few years at this pace? I frankly would accept a compromise of quality if it meant a finished product.

It doesn't earn top marks though, because the stink of the engine is on it, the sprite art is merely serviceable, and there's some default RPGMaker assets being used.

People act like stories don't matter when it comes to porn, but it's not true. Finding videos and pictures of people fucking online is like finding water in the ocean. People want plots in their porn, and a good porn plot, imo, has two key things: contrivance and friction. The first one is the excuse for why the characters are going to have sex and friction is what makes that sex interesting (literally and figuratively, lol). This game really nails both.

The premise isn't anything new, there's plenty of games like it. A young guy makes a pact with a demon. He gets a bunch of cool abilities like the power of suggestion, superhuman strength, and an inhumanly big dick that magically doesn't kill his partner. In exchange, he has to corrupt the babes in his life, including his family, or forfeit his soul.

The protagonist (Jon Gates) and his mom to spend inordinate amount of time alone. Jon sleepwalks and his medicine is lost in his recent move by his deadbeat, asshole dad, so his mom elects to cohabitate with him until they get more of his drug. His magical powers slowly whittle her (and other women's) inhibitions in a well written arc. Ghost Moth put a lot of thought into the contrivance. Jon has his motivation to spurn taboo, cross lines, and seduce women he shouldn't.

They also spent a lot of time on the friction in ways that make sense. If a girl has no reason not to have sex with Jon (like the clothing store worker), they will. If there's some barrier, it's used as a driving point of the plot. Like the obvious familial barrier being the biggest and most resistant one (aside from the cousin who's into it from the jump), or the goth girl who dislikes him, or his teacher who starts out disliking him as well as the teacher-student taboo. There's 10 dozen porn games on this site that dive into the sex with only the slightest bit of friction and they suck.

The characters are all very well written and uniquely vibrant, with individual motivations and backstories. The world feels alive for the most part.

Gameplay 1/5
This is the big downer. The "gameplay" is merely a vessel for the art and writing. The entire game is a visual novel that's been slapped onto a RPGMaker game. Everything is perfunctory and merely acts as padding. Go here, click on the shiny thing. Do it several times to get money. Teleport around the map at certain times, click on the shiny thing. Honestly if they just had chosen a VN format instead of the more complicated RPGMaker route production time would probably speed up. Don't play this game for the game aspect. It's not good.



Overall, it's one of the better "games" on here. The production values for the prioritized stuff is next level. But it's not a good game.

Good storyline with amusing characters. Storyline keeps your interest. Unlike a lot of other games, this one does have a ton of repetitive tasks. Excellent artwork. Probably the best animations of any 3d animated game I've played.
The author keeps his patreons updated as to the progress of the game and is very active on discord

This is a great game. If you have been eyeing Demon Deals, then you should certainly try it.

I give this game a 4/5 however, as a result of this game not having enough content, due to it being borderline abandoned.

Unfortunately, I have waited for this game to update and this was on my 'Currently Baking' list but it's been baking for much too long. I finally got tired of waiting and I played the game, and to my sadness, it's a great game that unfortunately doesn't have enough content on it. With what little content it has though, it's one of the best.

Wow this game is again a hint why i prefer 2d over 3d.

The only game I care to check on and anticipate each release. Never been dissapointed with updates! Please support Bread and the team! Each character and their design sticks with the archetype and pacing is a tad slow but I would rather that, than a quick 3 events that goes straight to fucking. Narrative is great and not forgotten when a SFW / NSFW event happens. Love the game!

Nice game.
It's a good game, it has very good art and animation, especially because I'm a fan of 2D, and the story is interesting. It sometimes has bugs, but the game is worth it. By the way, the developer is always listening to ideas and is attentive to bugs.

Pleasing artstyle, decent writing and acknowledges the forum.
Many of the bodies are similar but I feel that was intentional and it adds to the charm when even with that, most characters can still be noticed by how they interact with you.
Definitely want to back this when I'm able.

A good game that has had a lot of thought and love put into it, also has a unique art style you will either love or hate.
The story while predictable and incredibly slow-burn still makes sense and is well-written.

The biggest issues are the lack of real gameplay to keep you from skipping past all the text in boredom and the infrequency of updates, you might get an update or two every year at the current pace but the updates are generally very content heavy and completes a characters story in one go.

TLDR:
Incredible quality, but insanely slow-burn, and infrequent updates.

This is the kind of game you play, forget about, then play again after 4-5 months when an update comes out.

If you';re looking for a medium between certain developers of RPGM games and DPC this is it. It's better than both combined. A better story than STS and anything the other guy has ever made. I'm really looking forward to future updates.

This game is incredible and one of the best OF ALL TIMES but there are few cons that keeping this game down:

- (Cannot believe I am saying it ) the game is TOO full. When I rushed the game and still it took more than 10 hours. You are drowning in content.

- lack of minigames : I know this is positive for some people but that kind of game for 10+ hours straight is too long. reading text getting boring soo fast despite the quality.

- all sucking and less fucking : despite the quality there are just a few scene that you actually having sex and you are getting the sex from the side minor characters and not from the main characters.

-goes too deep on story: How story can be a bad thing ? well... sometimes game really forgets its purpose and focusing on characters and story soo much

This game is what all the 3d Ren'py dorks THINK they're going to be able to make.
Artist has an excellent, cartoony style that continues to improve, writing is far beyond what you find in most smut games (several characters are slow burn in a way that feels very organic and satisfying; no breaking both your arms, no needing to share the shower so nobody's late in the morning, no getting sloppy drunk, no sleepwalking into your bed, no falling onto your dick, just relationship-building for the most part).
The basic scenario isn't too ground-breaking, but it's well executed, and each significant character has his or her own motivations and personality. There is actual peril, and the writer manages to remind the player of the severity of the stakes, regardless of how much T and A the MC may be drowning in.
Mostly goes easy on the mini-games. I spaz TF out over tedious mechanics in smut-games; If I got through it without bouncing my keyboard, you'll be just fine, trust.
Demonic powers/corruption elements are pretty light, not used in a way that cheapens the story or your/the MC's choices.
A flawed but likable MC who genuinely cares about most of the characters and has a clear and consistent identity that informs his decisions (Damn, a smut writer outperforming 95% of Hollywood).
Dialogue and humor that ACTUALLY feel like they were written by someone who leaves their basement more than once a month.
An older sister who genuinely loves and gets along with the MC and has plenty of wholesome interactions (I honestly didn't think it was possible on this site. I usually don't even much like sister characters, but it's so damn refreshing).
Biggest selling point, a very communicative dev team who are not constrained by Patreon's chicanery and seem genuinely passionate about the project. If someone agreed to pay all of Bread's bills, I wouldn't be surprised if he kept doing this for free. The fanbase's hope, of course, is that the team paces themselves, maintain morale, and end up delivering a quality finished project they're proud of. Far too many threads on this site are getting hit with that dreaded [Abandoned] tag nowadays.
Looking forward to playing the final version and enjoying any future projects Bread works on.
