No, the developer isn't the moderator of this thread (Yes, they "own" the thread - in a way - meaning they can edit the OP, but so can F95 staff). Developers cannot moderate anything - unless they are actual F95 staff (which Breadman Games is not). People have leaked it early in the past.

Breadman knew about it, as he knows very well what kind of site this is. What really ticked him off was that the person who posted the link to download, posted exact link that Breadman uses. He lost money because of that exact link being exposed. It could be early leaked again, but I hope the person that does it will post their own download link and not the one Breadman uses.
Note: I do not condone leaking someones hard work...

When people leak on here using the link to where the developer has paid a file host for bandwidth, it adds to the developer's expenses.
I am not aware if Breadman Games does that. I know other developers do - and the link they share to their subscribers are those paid file host links - to give them higher download speeds and more connections available to the file than what a free file host link normally does.
That is why a lot of people, including myself, contend that if you are going to leak - at least upload it to a different file host (free account - don't spend your money, either) and share that new link so as not to actually have a developer pay for you to leak their game.

To be fair, Breadman might be one of the few game developers on this site that I'd like to support if I had the money. Eventhough I can't wait to play this update, I hope nobody will leak it before the public release... But if I'm really honnest, if there is a leak, I'll be playing it (I'm a simple man, after all : I see good game, I play)

Who's the girl with MC in the bottom right? It would be nice for MC to be with a girl who is shorter than him for change. Call me old fashioned but I think a guy should always be taller than his girl.
True, I do not have moderator control over the thread and don't have any control over what gets posted. If I did the crazies who roll through would get deleted faster haha
This is incorrect. There was an incident two updates ago with the person who leaked it being an exceptional jerk about it but the links I host on don't cost me anything. There's gonna be some money lost due to piracy but people who play it and enjoy it will sometimes become supporters as well. It's impossible to tell where the loss/gain is in the wash but it's also inevitable and wholly out of my hands so I just try to be as nice as I can about it, interact with the audience where they're at, and I don't come here in the weeks surrounding the update to preserve my sanity from the wave of people who aren't regulars and don't know that this thread is usually a very positive place to be.
