Because everything depends on everything else something like that is not likely. I don't mean any offense with this but this is a story game, I don't think putting a ton of effort into making it a doll simulator would serve me well and the amount of work it would take to make even just a few girls have selectable outfits for sprites, scene art, busts, and animations - so multiple iterations of each one for each outfit for each girl - that'd quickly be all I would have time to do and it's not my goal with this game.

Personally, I always think these kinds of holiday events make any game feel dated. It will always feel out of place any other time of the year, it's always an out-of-place non-canon event just for the sake of an irl holiday and the developer has to rush with the update to not miss the deadline.
Thank god someone understands this. The events are always detached and serve no purpose, don't get me wrong I don't mind like some minor changes for certain holidays, but using an entire update that has nothing to do with the story? POINTLESS.

You may want to choose other games to comment on or participate. Morado has a habit of picking fights with posters or deleting their content. I stopped posting and supporting this game for that and other reasons. He only haunts certain games, so good travels.
Got to agree. Too many games have done them and everyone feels pretty much the same. All a game needs is a reference to the holiday and maybe add in some decoration for the specific holiday, but a spin-off holiday event on its own always ends up a waste of time. Unless of course you have a real thing for women in Santa costumes.

The person implied Breadman's previous releases were under 20 minutes. I showed they are much girthier than their memory.
The person made clear their sense of entitlement as a player and that Breadman is their bitch and owes them something for waiting. Breadman owes them jack and shit. It's a game Breadman shares to the public for free. If the player doesn't like when and what they get, there are 18000 other games to choose from. Breadman did not solicit their opinion.

Having the holidays as a part of the story could be a workable idea, though certainly not a stand alone arc. A specific character arc.
Halloween would be the perfect holiday theme for this game. There's a party and one of the demons plays a prank leaving it up to the MC and the librarian to work together to find an answer. Which, inevitably, will require the MC's penis in various librarian orifices on top of a pile of books.
Thanksgiving, run around trying to find food for a family get together and the MC winds up stuffing someone's gibblets. Probably Ash since we're all thankful for that yam packed booty.
Obviously I'm not asking you to consider these suggestions. Just some discussion.

the issue with making holiday events canon to the story is that it could seriously make the story pathing hard to deal with. What if a player does the family's Thanksgiving event and then later completes Amira or Sabrina's Halloween event, the timeline gets wonky real quick. I don't have anything against games that include holiday stuff, if it's something they got time for and their fans enjoy, awesome, it's just not something I'm gonna deal with for this game haha

You do you. It's nice stuff for a DLC after the main game is done, but forcing into the story, meh.
Yeah, a story like yours would be have a problem with a time line outside of specific arcs. It'd have to be built in from the very begining.
