Realistically, I think we're closer to version 0.75 as of my last (patron) update.
But to leave room for error, the patron update is up to version 0.6, and once the game is finished I'll probably jump from version 0.7 / 0.8 / wherever I'm at and mark it as 1.0
(after some testing, of course).
For pure les route you could make them consume life energy instead, and i've seen before claims that this is why succubi eat cum.

When Succubi myths came to exist, it is believed to originate from Messopotamia 2400 BC (I had to google the timeframe, don't have that memorized).
Originally they visited you and gave you erotic dreams.
In older times, (roughly around the same time as the witch trials.) Men would even punish their wives for having an affair for having an erotic dream because they believed they had sex with an Incubus.
I don't think there's a lot of information in regards to what messopotamians believed, but it had something to do with their king believed to be an Incubus and visit women in their dreams. <- I double checked this before submitting, apparently this is believed but there's no evidence to support it so not really guaranteed that it's true.
At some point it became Incubi and Succubi would steal energy from their hosts.
At another point that energy source became semen for Succubi. Not entirely sure for Incubi, don't think those changed too much.
(After fact checking myself; Just now found out that Succubi stealing energy via Semen was popularized around the Renaissance period onward. Actually pretty neat to know. I thought it was way sooner than that.)
So yeah, it wouldn't be too farfetched for me to change it to stealing energy and allow Succubi to feed off women. But that would be a lot of story and mechanics to rewrite and I'm not about to do that so close to the end.
A little analogy if you will. You have a bowl pudding and you sit down beside a Chad to enjoy said pudding. Chad stares at your pudding with lust in his eyes and asked if he can have some. A jealous man would say mine, mine, mine....no! A swinger would grab an extra spoon and have a delightful conversation as the two of you partake in your delicious pudding. But a cuck would hand the Chad his own spoon and push the entire bowl in front him. Then after the Chad destroys your pudding you lick the bowl and the spoon clean. I don't eat much pudding but I love watching Chad enjoy it.
I've never really been a big fan of pudding, but I'd eat it on an extremely rare occasion such as a work event where dessert is served.
You somehow managed to move pudding from the dessert scale of "meh" to "repulsive".
