I see high corruption blocks some events, is there not an alternative ? Otherwise oof for me :s
Yeah, high corruption does block a relationship with Scyllus. Given Scyllus is an Incubus I kinda wanted him to be neutral and not care too much other than raising an eyebrow if the protagonist acts a little too evil in his presence. Same with Rhelyla. Although she's very empathetic, I kinda see her as someone who doesn't care if the protagonist is good or evil.

That said, you can still sleep with Scyllus, and do several events with him.

TF talk.. is that talking about previous lives as switched genders, ? I was realy hoping if you could have an indepth talk with Scyllus about the gender switching and hears his opinions switching. I was going to bring it up, but never got around to it.. is this is what its about ? I actually did have a scene in mind that could play out between the two of them, , but I didnt want to be pushy with ideas <.<

By all means, go ahead.
I accept donated scenes and suggestions. The game is already massively different than it started because of many suggestions I've received. In fact voidtraveler has offered a ton of ideas that have been implemented into some of the earlier parts of the game.

I do have people get very pushy and sometimes refuse to accept there are things I will not add (such as bestiality).

Also, in fine with them becoming fuck buddies, fucking on the spur of the moment, or if they loose control at times. So if your not romancing , then nothing else happens ?

I would like to understand why, when I'm exploring the Starless Groves, it directs me to a page of a different game. Is this a bug or another game you have created?

It's an inside joke that leads to a bad end if you're not careful.

I keep loading every time this joke pops up. Should I see where it leads, or is it just a waste of time?
Nedry answered you correctly.

It was a scene intended to mess with players since chapter 4 is the lovecraftian area.
It's only like 3 or 4 passages long, just click through it. Haha.

Is there a way for me to take "Frothy " with me? He reminds me of my younger brother, especially in the way he talks to me with such respect.

I started a new game (because I picked female instead of male in my old saves) and did everything even better than before (I even unlocked the ability to visit Eira in Silent City), but the problem is at the start of Chapter 4. I used to find Elyria with me in the castle and have the ability to advance her story, so I could summon her. However, this time, not only did I not find her with me at the beginning of the chapter, but she was also with Seraphina in the castle, which was a surprise to me. Could you tell me what I did wrong? Is there a way to change it ( even if I have to edit it), or am I doomed in this try?

honestly i'm confused. everything i'm seeing is if you collect all 9 journals, free Arabella, and have Elyria fight the dude with the long ass name then she is waiting for you when you go with Rhe to explore the city but after playing MULTIPLE versions of this game everytime starting a new save i have YET to have that happen. so can the dev or anyone tell me what switch i gotta flip in the webpage console

EDIT: nvm if you open the console and the sugarcube variables just find elyria's relationship score and make it 30, for whatever reason it starts at -5 which means doing her quest only put you at 25

I wouldn't rule out the possibility that there's a condition I forgot to check for. But I'm fairly certain I've got those settings correct.

Mind sending me your save file as close to when you arrived to Silent City as possible? I'll take a look and see what I can find. If she didn't join you in the silent city, most likely you didn't find all her journals before facing the boss.

Though based off your newer comment, you said it starts at -5, but actually her starting relationship starts at 0.
So my guess is you just barely missed the relationship requirement due to a decision that was made.

Btw, I apologize for my late response. Was in Europe for a month, and then after getting back it was difficult getting the update done. Just finished it, so I'll be releasing 0.68 for public probably tomorrow (It's been up on my website for a week or so already).

How do you do the evil path
Certain actions you make during the game add a little bit of corruption.
I need to make some changes to this though, but for now it's stuff like:

Did the grill route get expanded on? I played it like a year ago or so and it was my favorite part just because it's so funny.

Also you have to be COMPLETELY honest with her at the first meeting to get the last 5. She already hates you at first sight, but will score points for honesty.

Unfortunately no.

I'd like to, but I don't know if/when I'll get around to it.

Every time I start a new game, I gain something new, but I also lose something else. In this new game, I couldn't find the option to buy the Golden Ware outfit (the Golden Armour). Either I'm unlucky, or I'm doing something wrong ( I edited the steep path to retrieve the last journal, as I kept falling and getting game overs. )
Edit: I would appreciate your help with this problem. Here is my save file.

Hey!
Sorry you're experiencing issues. Thanks for sending me your save file, it helped me resolve this much faster.

I took a look at your save file to see what happened with the goldenware and I see the issue.

I checked things on my end, and I can see why the Goldenware outfit isn’t showing up for you. It’s tied to a hidden variable called $horns. Here's the code where the item should have appeared for you.

<<if $horns and not $wardrobe.outfit.includes("goldenware")>>

However, in your save that variable isn't set. Upon checking your stats, it looks like you edited your level and stats which skipped some flags that were supposed to trigger.

When you edited your level and stats, you skipped some natural progression stuff.

Everytime you level up, this code automatically plays:

<<if $p.lvl == 5>>
<<set $horns to true>>
<!-- scene here -->
<<elseif $p.lvl == 9>>
<<set $tail to true>>
<!-- scene here -->
<<elseif $p.lvl == 12>>
<<set $wings to true>>
<!-- scene here -->
<</if>>

Editing your stats is totally understandable, especially if you've played a few times already. However you should be careful as some variables affect others, and if you don't know which ones to change, it can cause the types of bugs you're seeing in your game.

Editing your money or stats is generally fine, but changing your level directly will skip a bunch of story flags, which can prevent certain items, outfits, or scenes from unlocking properly.

A quick fix would be to set $horns to true, but although it would take more time I recommend editing your exp rather than your level and sleeping.

Or, since you're editing your stats anyways you could just entirely skip editing your level to avoid any similar issues.

If there are any other issues you're running into, I'm happy to take a look. But if you're manually editing variables, just note that I might have trouble duplicating some of your errors.

This is due to the exact same reason as above. When you edited your level you skipped the wings. There is a check for wings on one of the paths, though I don't believe it should result in a game over.

Some of these issues would be resolved if I did a check for your level rather than specific variables like wings.
But it's more a case of keeping things somewhat organized for my adhd as I often forget things like what level someone should have gotten their wings.

Hi

Thanks a lot for checking my save file so quickly . I really appreciate it! Sorry for messing around with my level and skipping those story flags. I had no idea that would disable the $horns variable and prevent the Goldenware outfit from showing up.

Your explanation about the level-up code makes perfect sense now. I’ll go ahead and set $horns to true so I can see the outfit, and next time I’ll adjust my experience points rather than my level to keep everything in order.

Apologies for any extra trouble I caused, and thanks again for all your help. If I encounter any more strange bugs, I’ll be sure to get in touch!

No problem, make sure you also set $tail and $wings to true!
Enjoy :)
