Agreed. It does say "Do these first" but I don't see it stated clearly anywhere that they disappear after you do the story events.

It's really disappointing to see an actually decent sandbox game get gut and turned into a pseudo-kinetic novel with a completely unfitting format.
Not to mention the writing quality has dropped significantly, with the dialogue and narrative being a lot stiffer and the pacing getting completely thrown out the window. Then there's the plot being radically different with barely any correlation to the original, and all the characters having undergone significant shifts from how they used to talk and act, keeping only their more generalized traits.
And as a really odd note; It seems like the dev's generally just burned out or unhappy with the game now, chapter 2's writing seems very rushed and the tone's outright mean spirited now with the characters all being frustrated and perpetually acting dismissive or catty and the narrative only rewarding them when they're acting especially shitty.

How do you unlock the uncle? I have been trying to do it before going to chapter 2. Seem to have gotten all the other content and can't find the trigger for him.

I agree completely, the sand box style made it much more immersive, now its just a kinetic novel with bad writing poor story and no choices. sad !!!
with that said please now add the KINETIC NOVEL TAG so I can filter this out, unless you are going to go back to the way it was.

not sure why the new version was taken from my patreon, kinda scummy to upload it without my permission. I make less than $100 a month and yet it still needed to be taken before I could upload it myself. The next part of this remake will be out in about a week, on my patreon and yes I changed the way the game works because the first "stat grindy" version just wasn't working out for me.

It's actually looks better than before, just need a few choices which you can collapse later to same branch if you want to keep story linear.
You're saying it's scummy to pirate a game, while on a pirating website.
Waiting for the public release is a courtesy, nothing more. Pirates also don't support paywalls to begin with, so you're not "losing" money from people who weren't paying for access in the first place.
It is scummy. Been pirating games for years and unless the dev themselves are scummy, you should do the minimum courtesy of waiting for the public release if it's not that long of a wait.
You realize it's not pirating at all if you use the public release, right? Also this dev hasn't done anything to earn a courtesy, and reacted poorly enough to probably kill any chance of future courtesy.
Not to mention this dev monetizes pirated smut and then turns around and complains about pirating when it's done to them, on a site dedicated to piracy of all places.
