VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Detective Life [v0.2] [Adults city]

Terrible VN. It's good it was abandoned. Everything about it is really bad -visuals, story, text... I guess, this is what happens when you put zero effort into your work. Waste of everybodys time. Delete and forget.

There is a massive amount of spelling errors, the story doesnt make sense and feels rushed. And so far the characters don't interact as if they are family or even friends.
Will not make an effort to check out the game again.

I have tried to start the review with something good or neutral several times and couldn't find anyhing good or neutral in the Detective Life. This game is crap. Story is lazyass straightforward bundle, characters are nonexistent, spelling is horrible... Damn! There have to be a standard for those things! Even for a porn game, writing is bad. It is so bad that it's actually turning you off. Waste of time.

Good Points
+ Average looking renders.
+ Good looking animations.
+ Not original but interesting story.

Bad Points
- Render quality is not good. As I said already animations soft and good but they look bad because of render quality.
- Story is to short for that much development time and update and now its even abandoned... Yeah... Nice...

For The End
This game had potencial but it didn't became better with time and updates. Instead its abandoned now and im not sure about this game future... I gues its gonna be one of games ''Had potencial but wasted by DEV and abandoned to death.'' Who knows?

It's just lacking in every area. The writing is poor, characters bad, story is just more of chain of weird scenes and the text is full of spelling errors and it is not getting better despite author promising to get proof reader.
Renders are nothing special and the way characters are created they are quite dull.
Overall it would just need big step up in quality in every area of the game.

This is about as average as it gets. English is not that great but understandable. Unfortunately, its one of those engrish that makes the dialogue incredibly bland. I've played some games with engrish that still manages to have some lively dialogue and characterization. Not here.

Anyways, the overall plot might turn out to be interesting but the way its told is pretty terrible. The story just flies by and you do seemingly random stuff with almost no flow to the plot.

The models are pretty nice at least. There was a spanking the daughters scene which was kinda hot.

I can see this being playable if the dev focuses heavily on kinky fetishes and situations because it certainly won't succeed on the merits of the writing.

This version is so short it's close to useless.

Completely broken English. No discernible story whatsoever.

Doesn't worth even the minimal amount of time it takes to play through. The images look OK at places and quite bad at others. But again, no story.

Definitely hard avoid in its current version.

One of the worst games I've seen around here. I'm not sure if it was released too early (by about 4 months or so?) and it will somehow get better later...
But in its current form it's 1/5 , just disappointing.

My Rating for Detective Life [v0.2 ] is:

Pros:
+ Nice Renders
+ Nice Story
+ Easy Playing
+ Hot scenes

Cons:
- alot of typing errors

Conclusion:
Like the renders in this demo and lets you see where the story will be leading too,although there isn't much to do, you still see a guy hitting onto the wife,you see dad spanking his daughters without panties and a good sex scene with your wife,and all these in 5 minutes,where do you get this in a Demo?, cant think of any other game right now.
my rating is only based on the Renders and the that I think are pretty good,and I also like the fact that the Dev doesn't fuck around even though it only takes about 5 minutes to play.
Also what I like is that although there are some problems with the English language in the story,It didn't bother me because I knew what he meant.
lets see what the future brings us here,if it keeps going at this pace it will great fap material.
Update V0.02 still has alot of typing errors,that can be easily solved through a proof reader,I,m sure the Dev can find one.

well worth the download

Could need some works on the writing, it's going way too fast and some scenes feel awkward because of it. Maybe get a proofreader because there is a lot of mistakes. The renders and animations are amazing, it's what will keep me in for this game Overall not bad for a demo. Good luck in the future !

This game has potential. Lets see how it goes. The render looks nice and all of the character looks great. Yes the english is a bit problematic, hopefully it will get better with future updates. Also it would be nice if future updates has more content as this current version is petty short.

This game has some serious issues. Very short demo. Took like 5 min, and that's running through the possible NTR content too.

The good
--pleasing renders. Nothing spectacular but decent enough.
--The potential for an interesting story.
--For those that don't care for NTR, it's easy to avoid.

The bad
--really irritating jumps in the story. Because of this, it lacks any emotional depth.
--none of your choices are all that meaningful. No woman will ever smack you down for inappropriate comments or flirtations. Which is nice if you just want to rush to the fap material. But, it makes for a poor gaming experience, where you don't actually have to think about whether you should really go that far. Your protagonist can talk his way out of the most obvious normally inappropriate comment, behavior, or flirtation.
--The English is really bad.

Basically, you may like this if you're only interested in quickly getting to the fap material. If you want more out of the promised depth of the story . . . probably not gonna happen.
