Recently I came across a Turkish pirating website, nothing out of the ordinary. But then I noticed that they have a huge library of games they are selling on some sort of "access pass." Obviously this raised some red flags with how many games are on this pass. Not only that but a fellow adult games creator has merged with them. So I did some digging and confirmed that they aren't licensed, and that the dev is a part of scamming site.

The dev is known on here formerly as Vilkas Creative. The dev of these games. As you can see they have changed their name to RWAStudios, this change comes as they have merged with . Screenshot 1 and 2 shows the merge. You can see the same logo as the site, on their new discord, which was previously the discord for the website. Screenshot 3 shows the the "Access pass" which is their way of reselling popular games, and finally 4 shows that they just aren't selling a translation, which would be fine, but it is in fact the entire game being sold at least from what I can see . I confirmed with one of the devs that was being stolen from, and this is of course not a official resell.

So the question why would a Adult game developer support this, and even seemingly merge with this?

Thank you all the devs that responded quickly, and for the ones who didn't I totally understand with the size of your community's. I am going to @ all the devs that are on this site, as even if there is nothing you can really do, its still worth knowing both the site and dev. And with a lot of the discord with the larger devs having a 10minute wait to post time this is a lot easier.

Don't know if it's this one, but I know of a Turkish site doing this since some years already. The problem is that they, at least the site I know, fall on a total grey area.
Strictly speaking the game is free when they add it to their library, and what they sell isn't the game, but its Turkish translation. As long as they don't claim property on the game itself, nor remove the author name and links, hard to tell if it's legal or not. And, of course, no dev is ready for an international lawsuit, especially an uncertain one :(.

But this:

Is something different. Still not illegal, but fucking immoral even seen from a piracy forum.

Yeah if it was just a reselling site I wouldn't have posted anything, we've had plenty of those around.

I guess all that can be done, is basically warn people away from paying for these games unless they support the developer on their platform of choice / patreon / subscribe.star etc. It reminds me of back in the early days of torrenting, where some random site would turn up and then attempt to sell pirate software / videos / movies or whatever that someone else had ripped and put onto a torrent site. Back then the community was pretty close knit, so it was easy to get the word out about these sites. If you have paid for it, you've been scammed and ripped off, it's free, never buy access to any torrent site, if it isn't free it's a scam / rip off site, and they will probably try something on with your payment method.
Which brings me to what you posted above. The real concern here is, yes the games are free, but if these people can be so glaringly immoral, then it wouldn't take much for them to try and help themselves to the payee's money on their card either, which I believe is more than likely no matter what they say. It would be like handing them your credit card so they can do with it as they please. That has to be the message, the more that gets out, the less visitors they see, and they go back into obscurity because no one visits them.

The best thing we can do is just bring awareness to the dev doing this. While theres not much to do against the website, we can at least call them out.

Everything else suggests this is not the case. If they were going to properly sell translations, they wouldn't at the same time have a library of translated games that you can just go ahead and pirate alongside those.

I don't get it, even in picture 4 the game is in turkish, therefore it looks like they are just distributing translated games.

Maybe I'm missing something here but I don't see the issue other than general piracy which is already practiced by f95 as well.
